Personally I'm going to contradict what a lot of people say... the room is certainly middle with a small bathroom etc... but we're in a hostel and not in a hotel, then usually we don't stay in his room all day so as long as we get home we have the necessary to sleep and wash it's very good.

This sois disant gîte de France is really desirable. Dirty room (spider skin, moulds on the shower curtain, bathroom joints, tiles not even glued to the floor so there is a risk of insured gamelles...). After a busy day we expect to sleep in a proper bed but here the bed is more than horrible, we sleep in the same lattes! forced to go to the osteopath on the way home to put the greens back in place... welcome leaves very cold desire.

It's just catastrophic... deplorable hygiene, tiny bathroom, nonexistent sound insulation, bed in very poor condition, no curtain on a window, tiles on the floor off, very low-end meals... in short, I'll stop there...

That sucks!

We had booked by phone, plus a confirmation by email about 10 days before we arrived, the owner told us that he had no trace of our booking, and that without going to check his emails, bad time character, authoritarian who takes you high!!! We had done for information 800 km, it didn't bother him and he didn't look for a replacement solution for us.

I booked in this hostel 15 days in advance. At the last minute, the day before I arrived, the owner cancelled the booking. He tried to call me on the phone (I was not available at the time) and did not think it was useful to leave me a message. So I found myself at the last minute looking for accommodation!This is totally unacceptable.

The rooms were simple, clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a little lean, but for the price OK. For this, the dinner with regional dishes was excellent. The bus connections to Vars are irregular. In the morning and evening they are frequent, rather rare during the day.
