It is always a pleasure to return to La Margotte. The decor of the rooms is fresh and delicate. Odile's welcome is very warm and breakfast is a privileged moment here. Odile prepares all sorts of good things: original jams, pastries, yogurts... everything is delicious and made at home. We look forward to our next stay.

La Margotte: a peaceful and warm stay

We spent two wonderful days in this beautiful house whose charm comes from the true generosity of its guests, which is found both in the layout of the spaces with a calm and refined setting and in the moments shared around the breakfast that bears its name here. Nothing is small! Pastries, jams combining original flavors, yogurts, all these dishes prepared by Odile are delicious, not to mention the great coffee, everything was perfect! In addition to her warm welcome Odile Fayet has allowed us to discover different places of interest in this region at present as rich as her past. Thank you!!

It's a step we'll never forget.

In Provence in July, to see the wonderful lavender and various villages, we stayed at La Margotte, immersed in the French countryside, which proved to be a strategic point for all travel. We were greeted by Mrs. Odile, an excellent housewife, very kind, cheerful and open-minded, who delighted us with her breakfasts. Our room was the Regrain, furnished in a typical Provencal style, independent entrance with terrace, where in the evening you could get some fresh air and admire a super sky.

A pleasant stay

We made our way to Margotte and went down to the south. It was very nice, we had chosen the Hussard room... according to the photos. We were very well received and enjoyed the breakfast: homemade yogurt, homemade jams and very original, homemade pastries... just a snack.

It's a very nice stage.

Very pretty Provençal type home in the fields in a place resting a little far away but not too far from the village of Forcalquier a great welcome I highly recommend this place that I have loved

Living in Mane for a few months, and having already slept in this guest room, I bring my family every time to Margotte. The place is very pleasant with this view and this tranquility. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. A truly exceptional breakfast the best, Odile prepares a lot of good things to give us strength for the whole day. Thank you!

It's always nice to meet you.

What a delicious place, a place of peace and quiet, and it did not surprise me when I discovered my room. A wonderful one!!!!. Very large, superbly furnished and decorated. Very beautiful bathroom. A very comfortable bunk. A gargantuan breakfast with, among other things, a snack, yogurt and homemade jams. Odile is adorable. The area is very beautiful too.

What a charm!

Stunning, quiet property. Delicious breakfast with their own fresh cantaloupes; bread, butter and homemade jams (cherries, apricots & lavender, apples, white melons) and sweet focaccia; orange juice; tea. Adorable owners. Comfortable bed (bonus: body pillow!).

Let yourself be cradled by this heavenly maison

Our stay in La Margotte deserves a positive comment: we stayed in an old house on a hill, surrounded by cultivated fields, a few kilometres from Forcalquier (no problem to reach it, the directions on the site are clear), the rooms are furnished in an original way and are named after the works of Jean Giono, who stayed here.

Very pleasant stay

Arriving at the site after a long wandering due to the difficulty of finding another structure and the fatigue that had already assaulted us, we were perplexed by the impact we had, we expected to find lavender fields and instead nothing of this, only arid fields of dry grass and poorly cured. I must say that at the time we were trying to abandon the structure but the problems related to the difficulty of finding another structure and the fatigue that had already assaulted us they advised us to sit back and wait the next morning. From that moment on we had started to appreciate the house that certainly offers all the conveniences, I am talking about the apartment for the 4/6 people located in the town of Benigno, I can say that the upper floor of the building is very well suited to the wine while the upper floor of the house is very fresh while the upper floor of the Italian palace is very fresh.
