Location was excellent. Staff was so friendly. It's an interesting experience to stay in an area where you would visit as a tourist somehow already. Breakfast was quite decent. Room was so small but proper and comfortable. Bed was comfy. I cannot find anything to complain including price tag. Everything was good. Thank you. I recommend this accomodation to everybody who will visit Batumi with a limited budget.

The hotel is located in the heart of old Batumi! lived in room 327 with a view of the square and the tower directly! The place is definitely soulful and not in season was quiet and the price is moderate in principle!

I liked it!

When you walk into the lobby, the staff who greet guests, instead of greeting and answering your question, you hear their rudeness and discontent.

It's a very rough staff.

I recommend a very good hotel, clean, fresh, daily cleaning, very good location, close to the waterfront. A delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to the fancy cafes and the Irish pub.

It's the batumi of the pizza.

It's a great hotel. It's in a good location, in the center and all around. Delicious breakfast, coffee, tea and bakery are always available, it's a compliment from the hotel, very nice. The room is clean and cozy. We arrived early before settlement, but we were settled pretty quickly as soon as we had our room ready, and we were drinking delicious coffee at the time.

The hotel is located on a good place in the downtown of Batumi. It is build in a pseude ventian style and it looks really nice at the first sight. The rooms are cosy and clean. But all the other things about this hotel are not positive at all. It is difficult to find the entrance, the entrance from the Gorgasali street is not marked and there is only a really tiny door, which is locked. For the entrance from the other side one needs to walk trhrough a pseudo-venetian piazza square and it is very difficult to find the entrance, there are no visible sighns. It is "great" when people arrive with luggage because the car can stop only quite far from the hotel. The reception stuff is not helpful at all, they leave people to wait for the check-in very long, while there were two ladies working, no other people waiting  and one of the two receptionist was just very busy with checking her phone. When we entered our room there was no hot water but they fixed it in the morning. The breakfast service was just horrible we were waiting for the breakfast for aproximately 30 minutes and the waiters weren´t able to bring us even tea or coffee on time. I don´t know what people do here when they are in hurry, they probaly skip the breakfast. The food was half cold when they finally brought it and they forgot to bring us the bread. They are also not able to prepare glutein free breakfast. The last day we are leaving in the middle of the night but they refused to make us a take away breakfast.  When I (politely) compained at the reception about the service they got angry, which is not an appropriate reaction. The most windows are overlooking the piazza square and there are restaurants with a very loud music, which one hears also in the room even when the windows are closed and it is very annoying. This hotel doesn´t deserve 4 stars at all.

Really poor service

Amazing place, you can hear the adhans from a minaret and bells of different catholic churches from your window. Breakfast under the arcades. Nice staff, air-conditioning. Entrance from a dreamlike street. No internet though.

Hotel in the center of Batumi, in a picturesque area. Next to the church of Nikolai the Wonderworker, Piazza Square with towered clocks as a guide to get to the hotel from any part of the city. The hotel itself as far as I understand several buildings surrounding the square, in connection with this one can be mistaken when settling in the distant parts of the hotel. Lived on the 5th floor to get there had to go to the 4th floor and also to climb the stairs. To the beach and port - 5-10 minutes on foot, a bunch of souvenir shops around. The rooms are convenient, the sanctuary is very good, the views from the windows are very chic.

2 days in Batumi

Location is perfect ,but services and room facility are poor ,the food quality of outdoor resturants are not good and don't have freindly staff. Rooms are clean but without teamaker and toothbrush! , family room was big enough.

Just Average

Coming from Dubai, I’m a little spoilt and the first one to admit it in terms of expectations from a hotel. We stayed in another hotel that was a three star in Tbilisi and were expecting better from piazza four square. However, if you can over look the bedrooms with paint wearing off, no kettle or coffee/ tea in the bedrooms.. the beds not as fluffy to sink in to as you’d like.. this was perfect. The balconies in most rooms overlook the square that have live music every evening, it’s lively.. walkable to the beach, some great restaurants and pubs/ bars right below. It’s got charming cobblestone streets all around it filled with quaint stores and shopping - some stores open 24/7. The staff were reasonably helpful as they should be for a place high on tourism. Lana, at the front desk stood out with how helpful and friendly she was during check in. I hope most of you who choose the place have a chance to come across her hospitality. She recommended great places to dine, wine and shop. Overall, I’d definitely go back there, the location far surpass the cons. A little few services extended could easily up the standard for their guests - having to go get hot water from the reception or offering a converter to guests on request should be a manageable service but it wasn’t. Regardless though, the vibe of the bustling life around made it all worthwhile.
