Friendly hotel with very tasty and purposefully furnished rooms. Service is normal and the price/performance ratio is also correct. Breakfast is fine with regional products.Total quiet location.

Tasteful rooms

The hotel is quite close to all the sights and the city centre. The facilities are good. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and good. We felt comfortable. There are plenty of options for dinner, to find a place in the many restaurants. Arolsen Castle is located nearby.

Nice hotel.

After an event in Furstenberg, the right tire of our car was damaged and it was 30 mins to Bad Arolsen. We got support from a local garage and we arrived late in the hotel. I informed the night manager up front and he was very supportive, kind and I appreciated his care.
It was a pleasant hotel, clean, quiet and it is located in a prime location in this charming town.
The room was clean, bathroom is well equipped and the shower was good.
The breakfast was simple and they served everything we needed. They served local produce and it was yummy and amazing.
The staff was friendly, spoke well English and very supportive.
I enjoyed our stay in this hotel, I appreciated their care, their support and their service.

Excellent Weekend in Brauhaus-hotel

My stay in October was commented on by the owner... unfortunately the platform here does not give an opportunity to respond, even the second stay in February could not be evaluated earlier. So now: 1.) Breakfast in October was as described. 2.) Breakfast was significantly improved according to my criticism and matched my stay in February with the owner's description. 3.) The room was the same - obviously, this is not that easy to change. I would like to give a good as a bet, because for a very good it is still not enough to want the best - only that this is not intended.

Breakfast better, room stays the same

One way in advance: the brewery room is rented and does not belong to the hotel. But here it is only about the hotel. Nevertheless, a warning: from the Yugoslav kitchen room it smells like old cheap fat, even on the ground floor of the side entrance to the hotel. In OG it's okay. The rooms are not the most modern, but ok; the bathroom in size and equipment is okay. Service is good, reception notes the guest's wishes in the guest card - and knows them when visiting. Should be standard, it's unfortunately not everywhere, so it's noted.

Rooms ok, service ok, breakfast a mess

We stopped in Bad Arolsen at the beginning of October. Actually, we went to Marsberg because we had visitors from America who wanted to visit their homeland. I liked the hotel right away from the photo. And it was really good: rooms okay, nice quiet, Bad Arolsen is nice, nice little main street with shops, great big castle... we didn't have much time and we have to come back again. In the evening we had a good meal right in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and very well arranged.

The atmosphere is beautiful

Bad Arolsen is a charming little town in northern Hesse.  I was there to visit the IRC Tracing Center which has records from WW II persecutions.  A somber mission, which is why I am very glad I stayed at this lovely little hotel only a few blocks walking distance from the Center.  I had a top floor room under the eaves and it had the feel of Paris, very irma La Douce.

Good updated bathroom, quiet dead end street, lovely built-ins in the good-sized room with its "französches Bett" which is what a real queen or double bed is called in German.  The restaurant downstairs was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. Good German food and beer, and they had a delicious Baden rosé (also called "Schillerwein").  Breakfast in the breakfast room was about average, but two weeks of German breakfasts, and I'm ready for something much simpler, anyway.

Down the street was a building from the late 1600s and the hotel, which is next to a brewery, is older than that. Here's the web site: [---]
