With a group of cycling friends we stayed at the hotel for 2 days. We can only encourage the readers to go there because everything was perfect: the reception, the organization, the well-equipped and quiet rooms, the ample breakfast and the restaurant with its robust dishes. The owners are very cautious and well organized. Bad Bertrich is ideally located for bicycle walks or walking.

What a welcome.

We only used the hotel restaurant. The interiors look a bit like from another era. If it weren't for the anti-virus air conditioners, you would feel transported back to the 1980s. But the quality of the kitchen and basement doesn't deteriorate. Classic German cuisine was offered with sufficient portions at reasonable prices. The service was attentive and the second and third drinks came quickly. Unfortunately, the restaurant closes at 8:00 p.m. So you should be there early.

For one night I chose the Bertricher Hof. I also visited the nearby spa. The reception was very friendly and everything was beautifully prepared. The room was large, clean and the mattress was very pleasant for me. Only the bathroom was a little small - but everything was fine. The breakfast was really great. No excessive buffet, but individual and freshly cooked eggs, cereal, etc. I definitely come back!

Nice family-run hotel

We chose this hotel on recommendation. In the course of our booking request, we were presented with a combo offer for a week's stay, including breakfast, evening three-course menus and free access to the Bath Bertricher Thermalbad, which we ultimately decided on. All communication was handled by mail with great friendliness, competence and speed. Even in view of the current uncertainty surrounding the Corona issue, we were given the best accommodation possible and well-founded. We were given a lot of food and drink! Autumn week off & relaxation

It's a very quiet house, perfect for relaxation. In the afternoon we have a delicious homemade cake or windbag, a dream! Especially worth mentioning is the breakfast, finally a hotel with a la carte breakfast! Very nice hotel in the resort of Bad Bertrich, surrounded by forest and mountains by the water. Breakfast is very clear at first glance, but you get everything after. Beer from the barrel is Pilsener, very nice sitting room in front of the hotel in the beer garden overlooking the pond. Everything as you can imagine: clean, quiet, everything perfect and modern. Class!!! Breakfast with homemade jam, homemade yogurt, high-quality green tea! Everything, but also everything better than standard! Anytime again and definitely highly recommended!

Good clean large room with 2 big chairs with ottoman, which is nice to relax and read a book. Very good bed. In general no luxury, but perfect for three days
Excellent breakfast. For dinner, be aware that you have to eat between 18.00h and 19.00h. But there are enough alternatives in Bad Bertrich for dinner.

It's super nice by Swan Lake, super clean family business, super breakfast at the table with everything around it, very nice owners and staff, to recommend, the quiet but picturesque village is only 45 minutes from Cochem.
