Overall, a really nice hotel which will suit your needs.
Let's face it; you won't be in your room all day as there is something for everyone to do in Berlin.
Wifi wasn't an issue for me. I'm not one to be glued to my phone or tablet 24/7 unlike most people but there is a paid option for faster speeds.
The room was immaculate and couldn't hear anything and temperature in the room was fine despite the -10oC outside and the bed extremely comfortable.
I took breakfast both mornings. First morning I tried the meat and pastry selections which was nice but the second morning (with a stinking hangover) could only muster cereal so the €10 extra was a bit of a waste on my behalf and would probably contemplate other options when I return in September.
Location as well is a 5-10min walk from Alexanderplatz station via the S9 from Schönefeld.
There's also a tram stop outside the hotel which I didn't use as I decided to walk to Brandenburg Gate (3km away).
I never ate in the bar but it seemed reasonably priced and a large Berliner pilsner €4.60.

Perfect all the time.

The hotel is very close to Alexander Platz, where you can catch the metro, tram, etc. The location is very good. The room is very clean and the hotel staff very attentive and friendly.

Good location and very comfortable.

Pretty good location about 10 minutes' walk from Alexanderplatz, clean and comfortable rooms, very nice breakfast, but poor WiFi bandwidth (there was an option to upgrade the bandwidth for an extra charge).

Decent hotel but poor WiFi

For two people, the room and the bathroom were too small. There was almost no storage space. The air conditioning could not be adjusted. Everything else was fine, quiet in the room, a good bed, cleanliness. And a nice view of the Alex. Central, easily accessible, affordable enclosed underground garage, breakfast etc., but there was no espresso.

For that price, it was just fine, but...

We spent the weekend staying at the Ibis Berlin Mitte and I can only say that, like all Ibis, it did not disappoint. Quiet and quiet rooms, super clean and super comfortable beds. The hotel staff are very friendly at all times. The hotel is located half an hour from the Brandenburg Gate and 15 minutes from Alexanderplatz (it is the street straight down, without any loss).

Very highly recommended.

We have already visited the IBIS Berlin Mitte for the second time and are happy to return - we have been IBIS customers for years and would like to continue to recommend the IBIS hotels.

IBIS remains our favourite

The Ibis chain has a consistent standard, as is the case in this hotel.The rooms are well maintained and the breakfast is plentiful.This hotel has an alley on the Alex and is therefore very well accessible by public transport. There are good restaurants nearby.

Ibis - classics

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Alexanderplatz (where you have a shopping mall, transportation stops, the TV tower and many things to see and do) was clean and well served, the only drawback being that it is very hot in the rooms and it has no restaurant, but next to it is a typical German restaurant.

Comfortable and in a good location

We stayed two nights at the hotel and everything is working very well.The staff is friendly, the breakfast is varied and complete and the accommodation is very nice.
