An unfriendly welcome, a tiny tiny room for dwarfs, poor breakfast, no choice in booked 4 course dinner, a filthy yard leading to the rooms ( full, rusty ashtrays, a heep of bird poo on the window ledges, unwashed windows...) no private parking ( although announced as present on the website) ..... Since this place has been taken over, it's certainly not been an improvement!! O.k., it's not expensive but still far too much for what's on offer.
Never again!!

The restaurant or the service is evaluated. Around 6:00 we entered the restaurant, which was empty except for one table. There were two tables outside. When asked if there was anything left for two people, we were immediately informed: we have two companies there, which takes at least an hour to get you something to eat. Aha... If you want to go somewhere else, there is something in the next place. Aha... It was apparently not desirable to consider, because the next one said to us immediately: no, an hour ago it won't be anything... Aha. I was just sitting next to it. It said: If you're in debt, then sit down, get the first drink and then let's go home and see what you're doing. But maybe we can also make sure that...

We wanted something to eat.

We had two schnitzels and a “home” style pizza since all other had run out . At best it was very average . For some reason I had half the salad my wife had . The schnitzels were ok . Baked potatoes and french fries .  Very cheap food but average quality . With a little bit of extra effort this could be so much better .

Dinner Sunday evening

The hotel is conveniently located. A good starting point for many walks. The possibility of eating right there in the evening is not to be overlooked. To the greeting. We would have wished for more warmth. The room on the second floor. Unfortunately, there is no motion detector and first of all a bit of darkness. The room of the size is okay, but unfortunately it was not heated and the heating was glued, because there was too much air in the heater.

Wanderers on holiday

We've been here for the third time and we're always happy to come back.The rooms are very clean.Everything you need is available.The breakfast buffet is very good.The dinner is very plentiful, delicious and affordable.The staff and owners were always friendly. This small hotel is highly recommended.

Small hotel with good cuisine

We wonder why the hotel was rated so highly. It's not understandable to us. A positive point in advance: friendly service in the restaurant. Negative: unfriendly owners, extremely old-fashioned rooms, mold in the bathroom, obsolete carpet floor, right on the main street, and a disgusting and penetrating smell of grease in the room. We had to hang our clothes in the bathroom, otherwise the mist would still be stuck there. Sleeping was only possible with the window open and that was only conditioned by the noise of the street. There are no parking spaces and the food in the restaurant (pizza) is made of cheap convenience products. My recommendation. Take another hotel.

Suitable only for people who are odor sensitive and hard of hearing

It is clean and very quiet.The staff is friendly.The breakfast buffet is clear but sufficient.The ingredients are from the region of the apple.

Cozy country hotel

Before, I was seduced by the price. The house is on the main street and in front of the house there are a few parking spaces. In the main entrance you also go to the restaurant/gastronomy, immediately a strong greasy smell rises in the nose. The rooms are on the first floor and in the hallway it is very dark. The room is spacious but it has also come to years, the bathroom is quite small and has no heating. In the morning very cold and uncomfortable. Gastronomy: The ordered food convinced with a very, very dark color.... Early: manageable nothing special. Summary: if you are looking for a good night's sleep, you are NOT claiming to be right here.

The price

We stayed here one night before entering the Eifelsteig. The street was certainly a little noisy until 8 p.m., after which we slept well in the guest house. The delicious food at the restaurant was positive, absolutely affordable. The distance to the railway station following the train to Cologne is easy to return with luggage. The breakfast was just as good and rich. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel with good food

We were guests at your hotel on Sunday, 20.08. - Wednesday, 23.08.17. Two motorcycles from Munich. We felt zero welcome. Chief Zero was interested in who his new guests were. The booked half-pension was completely over at the guest. It was simply served without consultation. The absolute low was, however, the unannounced rest day on Tuesday, 22.08.
