It's very quiet, right by the lake, but close to the centre. Good ways to walk with dogs. The laundry room is clean. Unfortunately, there is no wrap/washing room for babies/babies. Although there is a specially marked room, on a 60 cm high massage lounge you can't wrap! The bathtub is fine, but with a bracelet that only releases 10 seconds of water with high pressure at the push of a button, it's not possible to wash/wash/brush your teeth with a toddler.

Lack of washing facilities for infants

It was ok to welcome 3 families on a bike trip. Once we arrived we refused to let us go home and for no reason despite the presence of children.

Not nice and antipathetic

I was lucky enough to get the last room on a spontaneous call. It was equipped for people with disabilities. A beautiful campsite with hotel rooms. Lake Constance is separated only by a fence. A smooth walk to the beach is possible. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Bicycles can be kept dry and safe.

Spontaneous cycling accommodation

The situation is top. Because of the corona, the laundries were closed. Other campsites get better. The reception is very poor. The handling of various things is difficult. Every day you would have to order the loaves for the other day. In the best weather there was no way to rent a canoe, everyone was lying around. The restaurant was not open. We thought we had landed in the former GDR. Still, we would come back, because everything can be done from there.

Holidays

Unfortunately, we had repeated problems with security, but our large group was negatively noticed. Group conversations after 10 p.m. were no longer possible. We were constantly urged to speak more quietly. Every step was commented on.

Evening design

We were greeted with kindness and received a beautiful, large room with seating and a large balcony with direct views of the Lake Constance. Wonderful! We were in the hotel, not in the boarding house!!! A small refrigerator and a water boiler were also part of the room equipment (a bottle of mineral water was ready as a welcome). Everything was tip top clean! The location is ideal! In 15 minutes walking along the lake you are in the center and at night it is very quiet! The breakfast buffet was of very good quality and beautifully presented. Also the staff was always friendly and welcoming. Glad to see you again!

We're going to Friedrichshafen this weekend.

Perfect location witj view on Bodensee and very close to city center although it’s quiet. BUT: n
o possibility to charge iphone, no possibility to put cooling elements in the freezer. So if you’re hiking, go somewhere else.

Not suitable for hikers on bikes

The campground is located in the bay of Lake Constance just over a mile from the center of Friedrichshafen, a 15-minute walk. From the lake shore, just outside the campsite, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and observe the swans and other water birds hosted by the natural park. Unfortunately the campsites for campers and caravans are very small (it's almost like being in a parking lot and the tents are next to each other; this fact prevents you from enjoying the typical freedom of camping and open air life.

Plots too small

The slice of Viennese art and the liver were fresh and clean, good salad and honest Württemberg wine, very hard-working, friendly service and a nice ambiance.

Good household food at civilian prices

Great location to Friedrichshafen...boats daily to konstance & other places. Pitches average. Spotless sanitory block. Reasonable priced restaurant/bar on site. €87 ..3 nights high season..good. Not good for swimming in Lake behind site as nature reserve. 3kms cycle to gorgeous pool, lake & green area..would return.
