For two nights we stayed in this boarding house on the outskirts of Luckstadt. We got a modern and large room in the boarding house Luckstadt. Also a large bathroom with a great shower belonged to the room. The equipment continued to include a flat screen TV and a small seating area. We were very satisfied with the room, unfortunately not with the service. Breakfast (8, EUR and for this price is not particularly extensive) is served in a small room and you have to set a breakfast time already on arrival.

Location: on the outskirts of Luckstown, far from the city centre, but quietly located, parking spaces in front of the house: very modern, eye-catching curtains, comfortable bed, 2 seats, table and TV, unfortunately only on one side a night table and night table lamp, no room cleaning during the stay bath: towels and towels are available, but also hooks for 2 towels for breakfast: everything is adequate and even in adequate quality, including bakery bread. However, eggs were only hard-boiled, no sausages, no mirrors etc. Staff: welcome very heavy pennies and no tips for the breakfast, but breakfast is available, but we can also eat the whole meal in the morning.

The price-performance ratio is not correct

From the outside, the accommodation is not a good impression. The reception was quite friendly. There was initial information about the house and the place. The room looks very attractive. Unfortunately, the garbage can in the bathroom was not empty. There were also leftovers in the shower. The bed is very pleasant. No soft mattresses. Breakfast is perfectly fine. Everything is fine. In short: for over 150 euros a night, you can also enjoy a little more.

Satisfactory

Plus: Very clean, very modern and large room. Bright. Minus: Away from the old town (1,350 km). Strict atmosphere: Breakfast: Egg had to be pre-ordered, negative remark of the breakfast hostess when the provided bread was not eaten. On the room was a 0.5l bottle of water at the expense of the house. Note of the pensioner: But the bottle remains there; because of the pledge. Heating was turned off during the day so that it was always cold in the room at night. In principle ok, but for me no atmosphere of well-being.

Decisions to be taken

We had to go to the city centre by car or bicycle, but it took us 20 minutes to walk, but the pensioner personally picked us up from the train station, which we found super nice. Our room was spacious, the beds were wonderful. There is a comfortable seating area, but the light is a little bright.

On our trip to Denmark we went through Gluckstadt (after the Elbefärhe). As we needed a place to stay, we ended up at Pension Gluckstadt.

Very nice, clean and new (looks) place. Very comfortable beds and bathroom. Seperate place to store the motorcycles, which was excellent. Breakfast was good and the propriator is a very nice man.

Defo a place were we will return.
