If you are looking for a crash pad whilst partying on the reeperbahn then look no further, the room is slap bang in the middle of all the action.  If however you are not out until 5 in the morning partying, I would suggest you look elsewhere!  As the music from below didn’t stop until around 5am and I’m not talking a distant bass beat, it was full on, can hear every note sung!  During these hours it was a constant 75 decibels (recorded by my Apple device) so that’s the equivalent of somebody vacuuming in your bedroom whilst you’re trying to sleep…
The room is small, the bathroom was adequate with a good shower, the heating was adjustable.  I found the bed comfortable although the sheet was very old looking but clean and you only get one pillow but I guess we could of asked for another one.  Cleanliness was adequate.

Party crash pad only.

When asked by mail whether there was a baggage storage facility, as announced on the page as a service, never received a reply. 2x emailed. Afterwards the hotel called the contact number this number is not allocated. Nevertheless, no one arrived. No one was on the scene. Bar and hotel were closed. At 3 pm the bar opened, everything ran smoothly with key transfer. Receipt or invoice was not possible? One opens a sliding door to the left of each bar with the key and enters a very unstable hallway, the staircase is not better. The access to the rooms on the second floor is very good. The first floor is very well hidden. The first floor is very well-equipped. There is no problem. One can't go out of the house, so very well. One can't see a little sound from the back of the bed, in a relatively clean bathroom, and then one can't sleep in the back of the room. Even after a few weeks, of course, I didn't think that even one would get out of the bathroom, even if the bathroom was on the first

It's only suitable for daytime sleeping.

When arriving, we were told that the hotel "front desk" was placed inside a bar. (Loud music, many people. A bit Inappropriate considering the need for genuine service such as personal requests etc. 

Got inside the entry point. Looked like the back of the bar. 

Walked 3 flights of stairs. No elevator. Hope you have decent physics. 
There were pictures on the door the the room and above the bed.  It was sexually offensive and distasteful. 

There was not enough towels, half a roll of toiletpaper and NO handsope. 
Wasn't very clean either. 

Went down to go out. Asked for handsope. We were told it would be brought up within an hour. 

Got back from going out  5 hrs. Later,  still no handsope. 
Checked out (threw the key in a hole as we were told) 
And wanted to tell the owners about the experience but no one was at the hotel except for cleaners who said it would be more than an hour for them to come back. 
- Don't want the feedback? Just stay away when the guests check out. We'll done.

Bad hygiene

We've been to the bar at the Hamburger Alm several times for a few drinks. The staff is friendly and hospitable. You can recommend the beer and also the cocktails. Even during the Corona period with fixed seats and a ban on dancing, the mood gets up and you can come back there for a longer period.

The Hamburger Alm bar is worth a visit

The side of the building is just torn apart, and by guests who didn't enjoy the education, everything is clogged up and the stairs are packed, the bed is dirty, the rash has followed after two nights, the bathroom is molded and everything is pretty stuffed.

The price-performance ratio is definitely not right here. There is no wool (should have been as described), the bathrooms are shabby, the towels and bed sheets are stained. It stinks in the hallway and is also not extremely clean. It was quiet (the room was facing backwards). The situation is top, but unfortunately it was already. Better to pay a few euros more and go to a decent hotel for it!

For 90!!!! Euro a freckle: mold, dirt, decent bathroom, not working TV, no soap in the bathroom, mattress perched, ear-deafening beat music noise until 5am... then I can also sleep in the sleeping bag in the train station hall, at least for free

Unreasonable

Very cheap, very centrally located right on the Reeperbahn. Very loud beat music is playing in the rooms until morning. The reception is the bar, not ideal for late arrivals. Small but clean rooms. Ideal for people who just need a bed after a party, ideal for people who like to be quiet.

Here in the movie, the hostel was a guesthouse at first. Here I was 3 days of pure hell. We arrive in front of the hostel is the owner does not even make himself alive, we wait and exits the bar and accompanies us in this tugurium whose entrance is attached to a nightclub. Entrance you immediately feel an atrocious smell of mold, we climb up a steep wooden staircase and we find ourselves in front of our room. Two castle beds, a closet is a desk. Common bathroom is dirty, narrow, docking to keep in during the entire shower because it is not attached to the shower. Everywhere, fountains, absorbent from woman, mud and water. One and dirt. Day and night, both from the outside and from the inside and from the point of heating the same old shoes, we find ourselves in front of our room.

Do you know the movie Hostel?!

We booked a four man dorm and a six man dorm for our stay in Hamburg. The four man dorm had private bathroom and six man had a shared dorm, decent sized rooms, bunkbeds and wardrobes. Not many plug sockets in my room and all located in one place, non near the beds etc.
Shared bathroom was ok, shower and toilet are basic, bring your own towel!
Great location on the reeperbahn but very seedy outside at night. 
Ideal for a lads trip to Hamburg.
