The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms may be a little narrow, but a fantastic breakfast for a little over 10 euros. The train to the city centre is about 1 km walk away, parking in front of the hotel is a little difficult and a matter of luck, but about 500 metres towards the Rondeel Canal is easy.

It's a nice little hotel with charm, very friendly staff, the rooms are nicely decorated and have plenty of room, the breakfast is super delicious and delicious treats, and a parking space should be reserved in advance because the parking situation is really bad.

A great stay.

I have stayed there on some business trips. The rooms are spacious and clean. The facilities are good. If you do not want to stay in the room all day and only look for a place to stay for the night, you will be well served here. For family holidays, my rooms have not been designed so far. As I said, for business travelers everything is necessary there. For me the location has been very well offered, as I had an appointment in the area. Otherwise there are bus stops in about 5 minutes walking distance. Also, the Alster is not too far away.

Practical hotel

Spent three days at this hotel in april 2019 with my wife and kids. Staff is very friendly, the room was big and clean with a small kitchen nook and a bathroom with a tub. Breakfast buffet was simple (in a nice way) and ample, and the hotel is placed in a very nice neighbourhood with plenty of small and affordable restaurants and cafés.

Very clean hotel and nice neighbourhood

The location of the hotel is very good. The neighbourhood is pleasantly lively, there is sufficient infrastructure on bus line 6 to take you to the storage town. The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially at breakfast. Our room was huge, including the bathroom! However, it gets quite hot and sticky in the summer, but at least there was a ventilator. There was a lack of a comfortable or personal note in the interior. The room was a bit sterile. The breakfast room was very good for a hotel of this size. Everything you needed was also very appealing. Gluten-free broths were no problem. A bowl of apples for Man! One thing, however, the price is good for a whole Hamburg experience.

Score well!

Location: Location: in the beautiful Winterhude, not far from the Millfield, where Metrobus Line 6 departs. They help wherever they can. Unfortunately, there is no 24-hour service, but you can get to the main station in a few minutes, and a few minutes walk from the lake, the outdoor alley. Perfect for walking. Near the Millfield there are supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants and snacks. Staff/Service: The staff are very friendly and helpful. They help wherever they can. Location / Staff / Rooms / Conclusion

No frills doesn't have to mean bare or essential. Cristobal's rooms are spacious and quiet, with huge picture windows, high quality furniture and furnishings, very comfortable beds, excellent wi-fi connection, with scrupulously clean and well stocked bathrooms, a seating area with sofa and armchairs, and other amenities. The buffet breakfast is quite satisfactory, constantly re-stocked and attended, the area is quiet and leafy, in the best part of town, and reception is very welcoming.

Small hotel with everything

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area of Hamburg. If you are not travelling by car (you must book a garage stop) you can get to the bus station in 5 minutes where buses from and to the main train station leave quickly throughout Hamburg. The hotel offers a quiet sleep and an excellent breakfast.

It's a quiet hotel, perfect without a car.

I just came back from a one night stay at the Hotel Cristobal. It´s a very nice family run hotel in a very quiet neighbourhood of Hamburg. The rooms are very nice with a nice bathroom. The wifi is free. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. For dinner there are allot of restaurants in walking distance. I highly recommend it!

A Really Nice Family Hotel

A good accommodation for people on business trips. The rooms are not particularly large, but very bright and friendly. There is everything you need for a few nights in a city, and it is very clean and tidy. The breakfast is good and is always filled up until the last minute. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. In the immediate area (Winterhude) there are all sorts of shops and pharmacies in sufficient quantity. To that end, there is a large selection of restaurants.
