The hotel is located not far from Flensburg, right on a road. Parking is possible right by the house. I had a quiet room that was convenient, spacious and clean. The breakfast is highly recommended and the owner is extremely kind and helpful.

The country inn is very old. The rooms are large but unfortunately without charm. The bed was already very worn and crowded. The rooms were quite clean, except for the spider webs. Unfortunately there is no restaurant, not even in pedestrian surroundings. Breakfast was okay. For one night okay, but nothing more.

...because the hotel is only a few kilometers from the highway. The room was big but so impersonal that you really just want to sleep here. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast room has the charm of a train station hall, so the breakfast was good.

Good for a night on the road...

Comfortable bed, adequate breakfast (good salmon), very accommodating hosts (let us check in very late in evening), lovely soap/shower gel/shampoo.Convenient for road trippers. 

The interior was dated and worn, furniture mismatched and in general needed updating. Bathroom tiles etc. need some tlc.

The reception was a little unfortunate: Dogs are not allowed - although the booking page (hotel.de) explicitly says that pets are welcome. Rooms are large and clean. Good mattresses. Bathing is very easy with a desire for a refreshment. We had a room in the back, where the street noise was hardly heard. Negative: no breakfast service! We had to clear ourselves a table because the dishes were not cleared. An egg was asked for, but never came. In conclusion: for an overnight, but it also shouldn't cost you more than 80 cents for a DZ.

For an overnight stay

Convenient place to stay when travelling by road, and certainly cheaper than just across the border in Denmark!  Rooms are clean, facilities  and service quite adequate for a one night stay.  Some areas could do with a bit of a refurbish, but for an inexpensive one night stay, it is clean and comfortable.   A buffet breakfast is served.  There is free internet and off road (not secure) parking.  The rooms (certainly ours) are at the back so one is not disturbed by noise from the road.  Easy access to the autobahn and not far from Flensburg.  No dinner is served for those who might not wish to drive to find a restaurant nearby or in Flensburg.  The gashof was busy, so no doubt popular with road travellers going either further north or south!

This Gasthof is situated on the countryside, but it is still esay to reach.The atmosphere is rural and almost idyllic with the hens in the backyard. The rooms were good and the hostess friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rich. We can recommend a stay here.

Rural atmosphere

I have spent two nights in the Landgasthof hoping. Conclusion in advance: given the very low prices, it is absolutely recommended. If you are just looking for an overnight option without a lot of snacks, you will find it here. PLUS: + spacious, clean rooms + decent breakfast (if you wish eggs are freshly cooked) + convenient location / near the highway + almost new, quite large LED TV MINUS: - there is no reception - sometimes you have to look for the owner, for example if you have a question. - a bathroom - friendly right on the idstraat. Not my house, but the room is located close to the street, there is more than chicken - there is no room for luggage in the basement - there is no room for luggage.

A hotel to stay at when travelling by road. Free parking on site but not secure. Facilities and service very adequate. Free internet. On a busy road but no noise as rooms at back of property.
Host spoke little English but managed.
