We had planned a short stay in Helgoland and the Miramar Hotel in February 2022. Due to the extreme weather (longstanding storm front in KW 7, 2022) a ferry trip was unfortunately impossible, so we couldn't reach Helgoland and get to the hotel. While the ferry company has processed a fair, flexible and uncomplicated full cost reimbursement, the Miramar Hotel has stayed steady and retained 80% of the total price. I would like to mention that we did not expect a full refund, however we hoped that you might meet in the middle of the year 40-50% more. The Fairness Berger also mentioned that there is a fair, flexible and uncomplicated offer, but at a later time we will come to a celebration to see more of the residents in this hotel, but we also wanted to see more of the rest of the hotel.

Unfortunately, there is no customer focus.

Very good service and very clean and functionally equipped rooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast, around a recommendation. I can add: I've been to Helgoland many times, and I'll book again in Miramar. PS: I also had a brief water outage, by the way. Drinking and shower water, as far as I know, comes from an island-owned desalination plant. When it rains heavily, for example, in autumn, it gets sporadically troublesome. No problem.

A very good choice

The location right on the promenade is great, as is the view from the room through the large window. Sitting on the balcony and looking at the sea is a clean vacation, almost any weather. The apartment was very nicely equipped, very clean and in impeccable condition. Breakfast in the house rich and good. Unfortunately, the house has a water problem when it rains. Since apparently the sewage does not flow, the water is drained out in the house. The problem is long, even on the information sheet that is on the room, but the information of the hotel cannot be solved. It is said that this happens very rarely and only shortly, unfortunately, in our shower rooms: 1x in the evening under the shower once in the morning and 10:30 in the morning. Unfortunately, this does not lead to a lot of questions in the house, and it was not very well known to the entire staff.

Comfortable, well-maintained apartments with a magnificent sea view, unfortunately with water problems

A clean, quiet hotel with SUPER breakfast but for a couple we got a room that would have been just enough for one person,Z15, a bed too small and cozy.

It's small but fine.

When we arrived at the Hotel Miramar we were told that we were staying not here but at the Hotel Nickels, which is right next door. The Hotel Miramar we booked because of the good rating and the large balcony. This is not the case at the Hotel Nickels. At the request of the managing director Mrs. Conradi we were told that she did not know why we were booked again. More she could not tell us that this would be the case now. Then she was addressed to the price difference because Mrs. Conradi said that this could correct her.

Hotel Miramar by booking on 28.12.2018

Three Generations of the Conradi family have run this hotel since 1957.It consists of 3 buildings: Haus Hanseat, Haus Nickels, and Haus Miramar. My reservation was for Haus Nickels but when I arrived I was transferred to Haus Miramar. I am not complaining, I had a large Ocean front room with a million dollar view. Haus Miramar is listed as a hotel but has the feel and comfort of a B&B and rooms the size of apartments. My accommodations consisted of a small living room and a large bedroom complete with King size bed and the 2 areas were separated only by a flat screen tv afixed to a pole. I could turn the tv around to face either the couch or bed. It was kinda nice to start watching a movie on the couch and then shift the tv around when tired to finish in comfort of my bed.The halls were decorated with arts and craft style decorations that embraced a seaside theme and there was a small backyard to make you feel at home.
The entire front wall of my room was dominated by glass panels and doors providing a virtual North sea Panorama.I even had a small patio. A room of this quality with a seaside view, in lets say Cape Cod, would easily be 4x the price. So, despite the fact that Helgoland  is a tough commute I consider my $81 Euro investment a bargain.
Breakfast was included and was a more than adequate mix of hot and cold servings
which even included a beer dispenser.Don't miss breakfast as in winter most of the local restaurants don't open until dinner. I will definitely return to this mystical island and Miramar will be my first pick for lodgings.

Fantastic Accommodations/ Fantastic View

The Internet offer for 1 apartment. was more than 30% more expensive when booking Internet: 145,00 > when booking: 195,00 €!!! This made me cancel immediately. So you should not deal with guests!

Is the offer binding on the Internet?

Small but fine. Clean and friendly rooms. Breakfast varied and good. I had booked for 3 adults and unfortunately only got a double room with beds. For 2 adults and a child it's sure to be good but not for 3 big people. Beds didn't work at all - my cross!!!

Short vacation

A small but very fine hotel right by the water. Rooms very nice and very comfortable, very well maintained and everything new, fancy bathroom. Breakfast rich, everything you want, staff very friendly, were in a group, had three rooms, all fancy

Really good hotel.

We were here with several people. Rooms are clean and decorated. Boat style expansion succeeded! Unfortunately small bathrooms, hotel is not barrier-free, even if it were simply feasible. Service is not so successful, rather unfriendly. No coffee specialties. Breakfast is fine, no fish and every morning the same, cereal buns and croissants just on demand. Payment in another hotel must also go differently! One of the global players on this island has to come more, because demand and price would not fit together! But they would come back again!!
