A very clean room, located on the street, but no noise, a large and very comfortable bed, a shower with a lot of water, very friendly service, helpful.

A great hotel with a great breakfast.

We spent two nights at the hotel, including breakfast. The accommodation was clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need for a short trip. We found the bathroom with windows. The breakfast was put on a plate at the buffet by the staff, as we chose, all shielded with transparent plastic walls - very well dissolved. Coffee and orange juice were served at the table. We didn't miss breakfast meals; on the contrary, we were even asked if we wanted a snack. Thank you very much. It was a nice stay - we're happy to come back!

Nice, small hotel with good location

We visited this hotel on our bicycle tour through Schleswig-Holstein. We were greeted kindly by the owner's family and got a nice room, but it was located on a brightly lit street at night and barely darkened. It was quiet but too bright for us to sleep really well. Breakfast then made us at peace with everything. The owner's family worked very hard for all the guests and prepared a really delicious breakfast. The hotel once seemed to be a Balkan restaurant; from that point on it had more the charm of a boarding house than a real hotel. But the sight did not go on because we were hurrying right to all the hatreds and were far from the chapel.

Invisible little hotel near downtown and harbor

We were on the road with our bikes and arrived rather late. We got the last room - but we thought it was the nicest - in the yard on the first floor with a large bathroom - all at a very reasonable price. For the second night (because we liked the chapel and the slope so much) we were even able to use an entire holiday apartment for ourselves. Thanks to the breakfast buffet we were strengthened for touring or going on our bikes. Great restaurants for dinner and also shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity are all there. We can recommend the mill house to everyone.

Small hotel with nice rooms and great breakfast buffalo

It's quiet, it's a great breakfast, it's very friendly, it's nice to be back, it's clean, spacious rooms, it's a nice bathroom, we've been very comfortable, we've had a delicious milk coffee for breakfast.

Nice little hotel!

We were only here for one night on a bike tour and we felt comfortable. The rooms are small and comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and rich. Some large hotels can cut a slice. Recommended.

It's small and comfortable.

We stayed at the mill for four days in July 2017 with six people. With our wheels, we explored the slope and grounds a lot. The breakfast buffet was very good and the service was extremely friendly. We could park the wheels in a sleepable garage. Parking lots nearby. We liked the location in the old town of chapel.

A short vacation with friends was good.

We traveled on our bikes. Accommodation was not a problem. Our room was very large and clean. The breakfast was sensational, the choice was very large. There can be some luxury hotels hidden behind. Very friendly owners. We would always book there again.

Friendly little hotel

Over the weekend, we spent a total of nine people a week in chapel cycling. We all spent the night in the hotel for the mill. The rooms are spread over two floors and the stairs to the second floor are relatively steep. The rooms are small but very clean and equipped with a flat screen. Absolutely right for our needs, as we were on the road all day long. The guests are extremely friendly and attentive. A defective showerhead was immediately repaired. In addition, we got various tips for eating and other activities. The early breakfast breakfast earned a top grade. Fresh bread, fresh cut, cheese, quartz, fruit, round slices, eggs, tea and so much more. We also wanted to get a nice place to sit and drive in the hotel, thanks to a great week's drive-through.

Nice little family-run hotel

We had 3 stays at this hotel at easter 2016.
First: Kappeln is a locely little town with surprisingly much shopping area compared to the size of the town. So the setting is perfect for 3-4 days.
We had 3 nights at this hotel. Entering we spoke German always respect the language of the country we go to. The manager noticed our bad accent and switched into Danish which is our mother tongue. A surprise that anyone could speak Danish so far from the border.
Room, cleanliness, breakfast, atmosphere ... all top. We gladly recommend this hotel to you all.
