We were at Mother's Day dinner in the brown chamber today and we were reinforced in our opinion. After having been there a few times last year, we wanted to try it again despite the last criticism on this platform. The food was delicious and quite tirolish. The quantities were more adequate and the service as you might expect. So a clear recommendation!

Delicious, raw and good

Local style food that was reasonable priced. Portions were large and filling. Typical Bavarian style restaurant.
Service was below average. More attention were given to local friends than to other guests.

Affordable food

I felt hungry so I went to have a Schnitzel or two 😉 Beer on tap tastes very good, services perfect, they even fulfilled my request which was on the menu. The stuff is speaking English too..so, thumbs up 👍

Very very good

There were six of them there. Service was hard. The food had almost nothing to do with Tyrol. - Closing cranes - that was it. Otherwise, it was a snitz and then nothing comes up - snitz house would be the right term. It looked totally convenient. Onion roast was nothing at all for 20€. Absolutely not to recommend.

Not really Tyrol

Reservations worked very well by mail. The food was very good quality and the quantities were perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the service was the opposite. So a dish was delivered incorrectly and although it was already prescribed, it was transferred to another person (without demand!!!). Changes were made to the attachments, but then forgotten and the dish was still spent. The bad mood of the service was felt throughout the restaurant, even at the other tables.

Good food - unfriendly service

The fastest check-in of my life. Very simple and familiar. My wife and I liked it very well. Direct view of the beautiful castle and very central. Overall, our room had a double bed, a single bed and on the second floor two more single beds.

Cozy, raw and everything you need

I can't make a statement about the hotel because we were only there to eat. We were received very unfriendly, the host has a very unpleasant repulsive way of doing things. Very quickly we were forced to order, apparently he wanted to make a holiday ending (at 8:30 p.m.). When our meal came, we were shocked. My fries were a mix of potato puree and cold oil. My friend's mushroom sauce was more like a soup and tasted very tender and sweet. We thought for a long time and actually came to the decision not to have eaten anything like this before. Tasters are of course different but what we got there was a frog and that at the price!! We'll never go there again and make a big dinner after this big meal.

Defects

We came in right after they opened for the night. The service was very friendly but even though we had a nine month old with us but they did not offer a high chair. It was fine though and we didn't ask for either but it would have been nice to offer.

The drinks and food came promptly, even though the kitchen had just opened. Very nice! The beers were good and the food was good, although the plates lacked something green, like a leaf of lettuce or a sliced pickle.

All in all, we enjoyed our short stay and would come again! 

Friendly service, great ambience, good food.

We dropped in on spec and not speaking German had difficulty with the menu. But our hostess helped us out with a bit of sign language and lots of laughter. Our meal was very reasonably priced and freshly cooked. The atmosphere was convivial and the surroundings traditional and clean.
The restaurant is set in a pretty square within the village and within walking distance of our campsite.

fast service and devided in several parts for dinner,the waiter was proud of his special choice for tyroler food. his service could be better with a smile...?
