We had a superb party at the Absalonhorst country house. The food was very delicious and the service was kind and friendly. As guests, we felt comfortable and would always celebrate there! Thank you again.

Top party location

We had a corporate party in the country house and the location offered the right frame for a relaxed, casual party. The terrain allowed everyone to get around a little bit and there was also room for a hop tower and other play equipment for children. They could get out super! The plantation department invited them to ride SUP - we had a lot of fun here. The slightly secluded location offers a more private setting, which is very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and friendly and the food was delicious:)

A beautiful opening party in the green

Question: Restaurant shame, shame! Nothing left of the former charm.... after the reopening after 4 years of pause just a soulless SB spot with overpriced prices and no service!...and that in such a beautiful natural location at the beautiful Wakenitz! Attention: Unfortunately most reviews here are no longer current or accurate, as they were created before the renovation and reopening! The restaurant was closed for more than 4 years!!!

It's awful!

We are 11 people and we have come as a wedding company to celebrate our son's wedding. For two nights in total. The rooms are cozy and newly renovated, the price of a room implies high expectations, but these unfortunately would be bitterly disappointed. The first breakfast was a total disaster. There was an alleged plate breakfast, so we were told, packed bread slices from the supermarket, for each guest a plate with cheese cut and water as a drink. Also no coffee and no covered table. They were so wet after the night rains. The room was locked, so afterwards we had to go out on the terrace to look for a place to serve business. From a distance and far away to Absalom. It's a pity that you can't escape from this, even at the beginning of the ceremony.

A wedding party with two nights

The main points were fortunately matched: the dinner & the evening the celebration. But unfortunately not the Drum around  The wedding company stayed overnight & the other services accordingly not a hotel of this price class. As a wedding witness to see the bride burst into tears in the morning on her big day, because the breakfast from the brand is yes and there is not even coffee yet, it hurt me very much  Especially since the parents & the parents-in-law were staying there too. Also on the next day it was better prepared, but for example no milk for coffee; very, very high backbreaks; the section is simply not the class accordingly.

Wedding party (spouse)

Five days before a big wedding to the bride and groom... there are no words! According to Google's review, this isn't the first time this has happened, and then this time not until two hours before the wedding, like the other couple.

It's unbelievable.

I was asked again and again if the wedding party could actually take place. I was always told that everything would be fine. The website was and still is. It was temporarily closed. A large down payment was already paid months in advance. Now the cancellation. What an unimaginable disappointment for the bride and groom. This is pretty much the worst thing that could happen to the two of them. I'm so horrified that I can hardly put it into words.

Booked wedding 3 days before the event cancelled

Wedding with 50 people, everything well organized and excellent buffet, drinks and tour- carefree package my applause to the team of the Absalon Horst room very tasteful and newly furnished clean and not bright in spite of full use very nice exterior, well maintained and super suitable for events

Great location after remodeling, super service.

The reviews I found on the Internet match the whole impression. Years ago, I had dinner there and was not satisfied. Now I was on the terrace for coffee cake with friends. The terrace is unattractive, the view of the water is very nice. The service staff are partly very friendly, partly unfriendly. We were nine and had to sit separately and were served by two different waitresses. Our younger one was very nice, the older one was over 50 and the chick was missing. The latte macchiato tasted more like milk.

It is not recommended

We went to the restaurant again - after being very satisfied there for the last time several years ago - we were completely disappointed! The quality of the food was not good, the fries were lightly fried rough potatoes, not to be compared with delicious fries. The sea urchin in jelly tasted dull! Shame, but we won't be visiting this restaurant again so soon!
