Beautiful ambience, the castle lovingly renovated to the finest detail, fabulously good cuisine and the warm hospitality with which guests are cared for and spoiled is unique. We were there with more than a hundred people for a wedding celebration, as always everything was perfectly organized.

It's not going any better.

Fascinating place, excellent and personal service, wonderful food - here all wishes were fulfilled. Here you felt truly royal. The price-performance ratio is also true, especially when it comes to food :) Top!

We celebrated our little wedding with the closest family circle at Eggersberg Castle and spent the two nights in the historic rooms. It was something special for everyone, suitable for the occasion. We had such an insight into several rooms on the first and second floors, with different furnishings and facilities - all very lovingly cared for and with interesting details. The rooms are very spacious, even offering room for reading by the window or writing at the desk, which we personally found very nice. I think all the rooms have an interesting view - whether on the old mill or the used garden. The breakfast buffet is the first kiss, especially the many cheeses that are interesting to cut down for yourself!

Historical observation at Castle Eggersberg

Everything is in its original state, the guest rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques, artworks, there is nothing smoothly renovated. Good kitchen, beautiful terrace.

A castle to experience history

I immediately felt comfortable in the castle. The rooms are beautifully decorated in historical style. Breakfast and dinner were lavish and delicious. The very kind hosts take care of each guest individually.

On our Altmühltal holiday trip we found a wonderful room for a night after fantastic dinner with best wines at Hotel Schloss Eggersberg. Compared with the other locations here we found the most friendly and accommodating  hosts. No motor-sound, only the singing birds when you open the window. And don't forget the have an apple-pie and coffee in the garden!

It was like always a very nice evening at Castle Eggersberg with delicious food. Mr. Black has enchanted us with a perfect five-course menu - especially to highlight the maroon soup and the raffle. We are already looking forward to the next meal.

An evening with friends

The hotel is located directly on the panoramic road and allows you - almost overnight - to add cultural impressions to the diverse natural experiences. From every angle of view (the loving choice of facilities, the appealing and interesting decoration, the high-quality food, the upcoming service, the beautifully maintained outdoor facilities...) you can feel the passion for this historical heritage.

Hotel, restaurant, museum: absolutely recommended package

The castle is definitely worth a visit. My wife gave me this as a surprise and it was the hammer! Once feel like a castle lord. Everyone loves the story will love it. It's an old hunting castle and has been/is extensively operated, but without breaking the old charm. The castle is so original in the rooms and has been supplemented with beautiful laundry rooms per room so that a great stay is possible. It is very romantic, the operators are very nice and individual. So there is no map, but the menu is made exactly as you wish. This individuality is instantly felt after you love.

A very nice experience, a stay worthwhile for anyone who wants to stay in a castle sometime.

We spent a few days with our two children at the beautiful castle of Eggersberg. The castle is very authentic and you can feel the charm of the centuries-old walls. Breakfast and food were super delicious and the hosts were extremely warm. The Old Mill Valley offers a lot to explore for parents but also for the children.
