Simple accommodation but very clean. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Fries with lots of humor. Good breakfast buffet with fresh fruit salad and excellent bread. Bathroom refurbished and room limited depending on room.

Friesland oasis

We arrived late at the pier, yet everything was well prepared. For a tall person, the bathroom and bed is quite narrow or short, but usable. The breakfast is sufficient but could tolerate a little more variation. The swimming pool is a highlight and could be used without much difficulty, even in times of corona. If the price of the room, including breakfast, could be reduced by 10 to 20 euros, the stay would be described as very good, especially since we will keep the holier very friendly and helpful in mind.

All right, hotel to the post office.

The hotel on Föhr in a small village embedded by the beach is 800 m and to a small supermarket it is 300 m. The hotel is owned by the owner with a good breakfast in a newly designed breakfast room. Our room is large only the bathroom is quite small.

Hotel on the Föhr

The hotel for the post office is recommended. The rooms are absolutely sufficient and clean. The staff is always friendly and also ready for conversation. The minibar is filled daily and breakfast is standard. Price/performance is absolutely great. Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer part of the hotel. Reservation is therefore highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Changes of year to autumn

In the middle of the small town of Utersum on the island of Föhr is this hotel garni. It is a reed-covered house with plantation. The hotel is easily confused with similar accommodations in the area (or when searching on the Internet!). Most rooms are located in the planted side wing. The rooms are simple but clean. In our room there was WLAN, TV and telephone. In the breakfast a good breakfast with rich selection and care is provided by the owner. Early access is possible from 8 a.m., which is possible especially with early breakfast (e.g. Friday at 7:15 a.m.) which leads to the renunciation of the breakfast tip. Since there was more flexibility at the time, this would always be nice and helpful.

Good and pleasant accommodation

I spent a nice evening with friends with a good civic cuisine. The food was absolutely solid and good. No culinary highlights. Price performance good / service good / details: different dishes-damages / would go again!

Good island cuisine

We were in the hotel with the family for dinner at the post office. We were greeted by the boss in the chic ambiance of the place. The pre-ordered table was packed and was of good standard. Very friendly service for serving drinks and ordering food. Super we all found that our nest egg immediately got paper and pens so that he didn't get too bored with the time to eat. After ordering the food, the Junior got his first children's menu after ten minutes, which surprised us very much in a positive sense again. After twenty minutes, there was food for the adults. So the timing was very thoughtful! The ordered food was absolutely wonderful. The steak at the point, LPre and the super fish were all recommended. In one evening and then there was a super good performance ratio. If you want to have everything underneath the table, then you should have a super food, even if you want to have a good luck, then everything must be perfectly free of super performance.

I highly recommend local food.

This is a rather large hotel garni (restaurant in the basement) at the westernmost point of the fjord. Quiet location, close to the beach. The rooms and bathrooms are in urgent need of renovation.

Something came in the years

Spent a weekend at the Hotel zur Post in September.  Furniture in the room and breakfst room are old fashioned and giving an impression of the late 80's. Pine furnitures. If you look closer to the details from the outside, you will note that i.e. the windows will need some paint again. Bathroom was very small with brown tiles to the wall. Sleep quality of the bed an mattress was good. Breakfast served was good  including fresh (Not warmed up rolls) and everything you need for a good north german breakfast. Owner/staff were friendly. Location of the Hotel is verry calm, but rooms are sensitive. 
 Actually our room was on the ground floor close to the entrance and everyone going to the Hotel was able to view in to our room including bathroom (no milk glass window). Personally we do not like to close the curtains during daytime. 
We found it very positive that there is bicycle rent station within 3 minutes walking distance renting out reasonable bikes at good conditions. Actually you do not need a car on Föhr and nearly everything can be reached by bike within 1 hour at the most from Utersum. Ferry cost from Dagebüll to Föhr for a normal car is abt. € 100 return plus persons.
