This place is just outside Wuppertal and opposite a large 3M complex which is rather daunting.  There is plenty of parking and you will have a warm welcome.  The restaurant is superb with a really good atmosphere.  It is decorated like a Croatian palace and even when full gives a sense of intimacy.  There is an extensive menu but we particularly enjoyed the Veal Cordon Blue - indeed one of the best ever.  It is run by a husband and wife team and there is no problem if you do not speak English.  The hotel has about 23 rooms which are simple, smart and clean.  I think they are designed for business or a stop over.  Indeed this place is ideal on the way to Eastern Germany as it is very close to the motorway.  A good breakfast is served the next day.  There is not much to do if you want to walk nearby although you could view the river.  Wuppertal centre is a 10 minute drive away.  Five stars is based on the restaurant with the room 4 stars.

Great restaurant

We were four women between the ages of 50 and 70, and we were meeting for dinner there for the first time, and the waiter was constantly shamelessly calling us madels every time we came to our table.

Limiting Behaviour

Simple, simple and very small rooms with a small bathroom. But since it was only for sleeping here, that was enough. Everything in the room was fine and clean. The food in the restaurant I felt was good balcanian standard, nothing world-moving but also not bad. Service was attentive and very friendly. Breakfast in the restaurant was also standard. Everything for the price is fine. Nothing more but nothing less.

We were looking for a fairly affordable hotel in Wuppertal and we found it at Langerfelder Hof. The hotel and restaurant are relatively small, but very nicely set up. First of all, the most important thing: the rooms are very nicely furnished despite their small size and very clean. Most of all, the large bed in the double room has left a very good impression on us. However, the rooms are really very small and the dressing room for a family of three is definitely not large enough, even if you stay for just one weekend. The bathroom is also very small, staffed, almost impossible, you can only enter it alone. Moreover, the hotel is very bright, the sales shoes on the floor are clearly to be heard. But this is not all. The restaurants are absolutely unlikely to be made in order, and the food is perfectly easy to eat, and the restaurant offers a whole lot of food and drinks (including breakfast and breakfast) and a whole lot of food.

Relatively satisfied

Unfortunately, you have to enter the hotel through the restaurant. There's another entrance next door. But it also leads through a part of the restaurant, the beer garden to be exact. The single room I bought for two days is small. Unfortunately, the electricity is also regulated with the room map. Unfortunately, the card is stuck in the intended cardholders on the wall. The bathroom is damn small. It just finds a sink toilet and shower space. The sink is a XXS version. The wire is free, but it was also slow and worse in my room.

I stopped by here for lunch as a guest in a party of 7 while visiting the locality. 
All the meals were served promptly and all the meal choices when served looked appetizing. Nice variety in the menu. 
In particular, my sea bass was great, served with a garnish of apple, peppers and potatoes. 
My selection from the salad bar was also very acceptable as was my chicken soup as a starter. I very much enjoyed this meal.

Very Enjoyable Lunch

There's a discrepancy between a beautiful menu and the kitchen. The fish menu brings in tiny portions, the zander filet, for example, is eaten with four tablespoons, it's out of the trunk, stuffed with questionable sauce, you don't know what that sauce is, and the fish is completely tasteless cooked. The preparation of fish is called purges, acids, salts and it's unknown there. There are completely cooked potatoes. This isn't even a fast food kitchen. This is completely unacceptable, unfriendly. Croatian cuisine is different.

Not recommended

The place offers very good food at fair prices. The room was clean and really not to be optimized better. However, the bed and bathroom were clean, comfortable and just right for me. For the price, a place that is OK.

Cheap and easy

The restaurant serves very good meals at affordable prices. The parking is not very big, especially if you arrive on Saturday night when people from outside come to the restaurant but you can park. There's not much to see around; it's a little more industrial area.

A little distracted but good stay

The hotel is very basic and a bit old fashion. Wifi is ok, room is clean but not lux at all. But for me this is ok because I don't need it. The shower is for me important but this can be better and should be painted.
