On the contrary, when France was declared a risk zone at the end of September, we booked from Normandy to the well-established Twice Forest House. Here we know how it goes - and that reassures us. Booking: best by phone, because the hostess saves the percentages for the booking platform and passes them on to the guest. Thanks. Rooms: The house is right on hiking routes. Your atmosphere with raw service. You almost want to apologize for bothering you as a guest. Anyone who can't be bothered and live with ignoring the corona rules can already come in.

The only thing that's welcome here is SARS-CoV-2.

Although it was not allowed, the Zwieslerwaldhaus was almost booked. All tables were occupied at breakfast, so distance rules could not be observed. Some guests did not wear masks when entering and leaving the place or when eating at the buffet, this was also tolerated. Even the staff including Chief had only pulled the mouth guard over the mouth Proforma (nose remained free) and did not wear it properly. Not to mention standing for hours at breakfast breakfast, as this is not a disaster.

Disastrous conditions during Corona

For the second time, we have chosen the Zübesel Waldhaus as accommodation and starting point for various walks in the Bavarian Forest. We strongly recommend it for walkers with dogs. Plus: Spacious rooms with direct access to the meadow or forest. The house is located directly at the National Park. Good WLAN. Perfect for walkers with dogs 

The rooms under the roof are very spacious. It's much cheaper by phone than through a portal. Beautiful beer garden, good delicious food. Right in front of the house, the Urwald path starts or you can hike to Falkenstein. We'll be back.

Super relaxed and nature pure

Contrary to many negative reports, we enjoyed it very much here. Especially the dinner was appropriate. Highlighting is the breakfast buffet, which offers a wide selection at this price. Going to the sauna after skiing or jogging, which is large enough, helps to relax. Absolutely recommended if you want to be right on the runway!

Very good price/performance ratio

I didn 't get a booked room, Sylvester was assigned an empty room, W-Lan didn 't work, disappointed in his early departure, the hostess tried to charge for two nights, no complaints, hospitality looks different.

Unfriendly, rude, disinterested

At first glance, I couldn't understand the fairly common critical reviews here: the reception by an employee was very friendly, the room was spacious - well, spartan and old-fashioned, but that's probably a matter of taste - the bathroom was quite new and clean. The food was also very tasty at a fair price. But unfortunately, when I opened the blanket and saw three hairs (I don't want to go into too much detail now, but from a head they weren't) I had to revise my opinion... sorry, but that's not possible! The next day, when I left, the boss of the house didn't seem really excited that someone wanted to leave now and didn't want to cash her, even though she was still in the early morning stress.

Hair in bed, rest okay

After the feedback from the reviews, about renovated and old rooms, about suggestions for double rooms, mansions and apartments from which you can't be smart at a distance, I turned to ask the house for photos of the bigger rooms because we like to have a little more space, came the lip response, I should look at booking.com customers. Unfortunately this didn't help in the room selection on the distance. I then informed that I won't be smart from this (to the divergent names of the rooms, shared pictures of rooms with kitchen, empores, terrace) and asked to come back if I cause a lot of trouble. Here's the original answer: Sehr paid Mr. Gastech XXXX, which is appropriate to understand in a hotel room instead of the two rooms.

Unheard of bad service

The forest house in Zwiesler is very quiet and secluded, very idyllic. The furnishings of the guest rooms are inviting, the beer garden invites you to stay. Breakfast and dinner are good. The room was OK for a short stay, if you stay longer, you should probably book a renovated room.
