The hotel's facilities are of the highest quality. I was very satisfied with everything I found there. It was a great stay and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the surroundings of the hotel are dangerous. Sometimes I saw police officers approaching people. The hotel receptionist himself advised me not to walk much at night on those streets, and to always be vigilant.

Very good hotel, but the neighborhood is a bit dangerous.

We stayed in this hotel in October..not bad given the location since all the attractions of Athens are within walking distance being located in one of the three central squares...the only real problem is that just around the hotel although central there are loose people, presumably traffickers but unfortunately also toxic..we have seen it with our own eyes..so I strongly advise you to take a taxi or the metro (nearby) especially during the night hours! a real shame.. since the structure is not bad, the friendly and available staff, the rooms in the middle but clean and spacious. All in all I would not go back..not so much for the hotel as for what and who goes around!!!

Discreet for the quality/price ratio!

LA's strikes in Athens, we've made our stay in this city worse, but the hotel wasn't one of the bad aspects. Being in a notorious neighborhood, the clean-up strike, I am accumulating a lot of garbage near the hotel, but this isn't what the hotel has. The room, without big pretensions, is comfortable, of an acceptable size, and with a pleasant terrace. The views at the back, it's horrifying, al being an interior courtyard, but I didn't pick this hotel for the views, if not for its category and price. For what we paid, it was a good option. The breakfast is a little poor, but, enough to start a day of packing. The attention, very good location. The cleanliness that is acceptable, the taste, and the taste, I've got, I found nothing better.

Although the area is not the best, we were treated very well.

A clean hotel with good service. A good breakfast buffet. Located 200 metres from Omonia Square in a quiet side street. The reception manager speaks German and told us without a request which roads to avoid, especially at night, as the hotel is in a social hot spot. The house has no garage or parking, but it is available around the corner at a reasonable price. You can also walk to Psirri or Plaka in 20 minutes, so you can get there without public transport. Together we were very satisfied with the price/lease ratio.

Nearby Omonia Square

My husband and I stayed at Jason Prime for 4 days.  The hotel is located downtown Athens which is not considered a very good area.  Of course for us was very central and we did not find any difficulties as the staff advised us of everything we need to know about the area or people.
It was a very convenient area as we had a wedding to attend which was close to the hotel. It worked out very well.  We walked to Omonia each morning without any issues or delays. 
We recommend this hotel for its service, rooms cleanliness and amazing breakfast.  The price was acceptable and reasonable.
The reception staff were very accommodating and hospitable. We will definetly go back to stay at this hotel or its sister hotels (Adrian, King Jason, Jason Inn) on our next trip to Greece.

Good Hotel and very Central (Great Service)

We stayed here for one night only, thank goodness. The area is as bad as the reviews state. When on vacation I am trying to get away from all the bad news on television and in the world. Here, you step out on your balcony and can't help but feel sad at the sight. Let's just say, yes, there are drug addicts and "other things" going on. The hotel is not in a convenient location for dining or shopping. I would never walk outside the hotel, except to hop in a taxi. The room was clean enough for one night. The shower and bath adequate. We only stayed one night and headed for our cruise the next day. Sadly, I would not feel comfortable recommending or staying here again.

Area is bad- hotel is adequate for one night

We stayed this hotel for 2 nights and it has no elevator.
Rooms are not bad.
Double room is two-bed together, carpet on the floor.
Shower water is good but no late than 11pm.
The most exciting is the breakfast.
Very delicious and variety of choices.

Nice breakfast and standard room

The bedroom was fine, nothing more. The bedroom carpet was very dirty! This is the neighborhood that's not terrible. On a Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m., my sister got her gold chain stolen that she was wearing! The guy ripped off her chain and ran away! So I really don't recommend this hotel!

Really not terrible.

We stayed at this hotel for the two nights we were in Athens.The hotel itself was not bad, a city hotel, with a bed and breakfast schedule, spacious accommodation and staff within the correct range.Lastly its location.The weather was fine and with the sense of insecurity we had noticed in the neighborhood where it was located, we almost decided not to leave the room.Honestly, the Bronx, NY Police, seemed much safer.Constant police patrols, fights, etc. A pity.

Good hotel, sorry for its terrible location.

The hotel is very nice.but the area its just terrible.i came alone,and yesterday i didnt came in the evening.so,even that the hotel is good,if i'll be in Athens again,i wont be staying here
