I was at kaningos in 2006 but I had not yet registered here and so I had only spoken about it on another site. the hotel is modern, the staff is extremely kind even if they speak English not always understandable, the breakfast is not extremely varied but of good quality, especially the choice of honey and marmalades but I repeat, they can be improved in these years. at night the terrace with the bar is very romantic, it is not overly expensive but...it is not very close to any monument even if the subway is efficient, you will have to walk a bit to see what you are interested in.

A good hotel.

Not to be confused with the 4-star hotels in Italy. It's a good three-star hotel in my opinion. Great for location, just a few steps from Omonia Square where there's a connection to the metro station. The bar fridge is not as well equipped with a single bottle of mineral water that I consumed the first night and was not replaced (maybe, that's my opinion, because I had paid in advance online, and they don't want to take the risk that the customer leaves without paying what it costs).

In line with the price

We stayed at this hotel for two days in December. It is in a central location, just 8 minutes from the Omonia metro station. The hotel is new (opened in 2004 just before the Olympics). The rooms are very spacious, the beds very large and comfortable, the modern and clean furniture. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff is kind and available. The 2 elevators are very small, but we never had to wait to use them.

Good value for money

I stayed at the Kaningos 21 Hotel for 3 nights in July 2005. I liked it very much. The elevator was small and could not accommodate more than 3 people (without luggage), but it still worked well. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly and greeted us always with a smile when we went to breakfast. Breakfast was really great with a wide assortment of food and drinks available. The restaurant on the roof offered an incredible view of the Acropolis...at night was really fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.
