When I think of this hotel, my eyes are bright. We have been cooking for the whole stay, in the evening returning from the beach, we gave ourselves some realx in the beautiful, illuminated pool. The rooms are very clean and in a typical architectural context of the island, breakfast in the morning is served under a wooden roof with very white curtains swinging in the wind, the Mediterranean and light breakfast is ideal for the climate and the daily lifestyle... at the last price really great: 590€ 5 nights in August!!!

The woman will welcomes you (I guess the owner of the hotel) is very kind which everytime you have some problem does her best in order to give a pleasant holiday to her customers. Breakfast is included and is very good (mostly composed by sweet food such as Greek yogurt, cakes, croissants,...) and served in a nice terrace where you can see Ornos town. 
The rooms are cleaned and furnished of soap and cleaned towels daily. We had a great time in this place. Strongly advised if you look for an economic and quite place in Mykonos.

Kind people will host you in Mykonos

If you are looking for accommodation in Mykonos without spending a single eye of your head and where you will always find availability and courtesy, this is the right choice! The owner is really kind and available. The rooms are clean, large and quite comfortable (certainly you do not expect a 5-star hotel, but for those who know how to travel and have always traveled is a relatively good solution). Breakfast is not very abundant, but it is also served with a certain elasticity of time (in holidays not failing): they serve an exquisite Greek yogurt. The room is always cleaned regularly. The only sin is the distance from the center, but you know in Mykonos you can not stay without a means of transport, so it is a rock that you can easily overcome.

Good compromise price ratio! Good choice!

Lovely hotel, fabulous rooms really quirky and Miss Eleni is a delight looking after me and making me special creten medicine. The breakfast is lovely the juice is amazing and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. The one thing I would say is you really need transport which I didn't have. Taxis are very expensive 20 euros for a 5 minute trip to town. Yes you can walk but its fairly dangerous in the dark the road is very uneven and there are no lights at all as a solo traveller I didnt feel safe. I would definitely stay there again but this time would hire a car.

Lovely place, great host

The Mourtzakis hotel is located in the windy and silent bay of Korfos, a short distance from the centre of Ornos. Despite the short distance a means of transport is necessary (as almost everyone in Mykonos will suggest) because the road is disestablished and completely dark at night (the problem is in fact the evening exit, during the day it is a pleasant walk very panoramic). The distance from the centre will also be the only pain point for those staying at the Mourtzakis (although solvable): as soon as you arrive the kindness of Mrs. Eleni and her efficient staff will make you forget everything.

Great for those looking for peace in Mykonos

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights after a tour of the Cycladic Islands waiting to take the return flight. Well.. starting from the assumption that the structure is not a ornos but a korfos wishes if you arrive from the port or airport with public transport and suitcases like us as you will have to make a long enough stretch of the road, if so you can call,in and for more if in the evening completely in the darkness Point 2: we go to the reception: once we arrive we are greeted by a man unattractive, unattractive, without a minimum smile almost even dragged from the doorway to make us understand a lot it seems that there are problems with the room as we booked a small accommodation for 4 people waiting on the doorway and booking regularly with the booking of a note was different from the 2nd time.

Out of the World

Very nice, not very central location but convenient to reach the main beaches. Beautiful salt pool, not large rooms but with sea view and double balcony. Typical Greek structure with thick white walls and stone-framed baths. Very kind family-run staff. Both speak English. Good cleanliness. Breakfast in average.

Beautifull private Hotel

It is surrounded by a small town called Ornos, which has a beach and places for dinner. The view is towards a beach where kitesurfing is done. We stayed three nights in this hotel with a three-year-old girl and we were touched by a room with many stairs. The wedding bed (quite small) was upstairs, the other bed going down some stairs and the bathroom going down others, which seemed dangerous to us to go with young children. It has a small, cool kitchen. One day we didn't touch the hot water so we bathed with warm water. The breakfast is basic and starts at 9 am. The pool area is very nice, the water is not air conditioned.

Simple hotel near Ornos

We liked it. The pool is spectacular. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is very good and also included. The best thing is that it is away from all the hustle and bustle and sleep well. We recommend it. The only thing is that it is better to have a car to move around.
