We enjoyed staying at Meltemi Suites in Rethymno, Greece on the island of Crete, specially the nearby conveniences of restaurants, food market, beaches, historical old town and various other fun filled activities.
The hostess Emmanuela is so great in listening and quickly responding to the needs of her guests, also Sophia is a very valued team member in making sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible.  We are return customers from last year and would not hesitate to return in the near future.

Excellent affordable accommodation specially for extended stays

The photo is not the view we had, half view of sea with aircondition unit on balcony.
Only 1 chair on balcony.
Very good about leaving beach umbrellas to be used.
Very colse to beach, Good water pressure, but that also means you soak the bathroom, shower badly designed.
Airconditioning unit worked well during day, but shut off during evening.
Clean but very tiny.

Beautiful location and room setup very nicely thought. Sleep and wake up with sound of waves. Not as loud as we thought considering the main road. Contact free key. 
The cleaning service though is very very bad (which in this peculiar year is not what you wish).
Stains of water on the floor (dirty water- shared with other rooms?), yellow stains on "fresh" towels and blankets, a broken piece of glass under bed for the all stay (though cleaning service had come more than once), shower floor was dirty - cleaned by myself but unfortunately got fungal infection during my stay there.

A home for fungal infections

I'll try to describe the hotel itself and Rethymno himself in a laconic way without saying too much). We arrived at Rethymno with our wife so late, about 11 p.m., Emmanuel - the hotel's representative kindly met us, put us in the room and told us everything. By the room: everything is wonderful! looks charming! the furniture is fresh, the repair is modern, the air conditioning works, the hot water was always there. The cleaning was daily. The cleaning was so frequent that sometimes we refused, because either we just didn't want to get tired or we were forced to come back) The city of Rethymno: very charming and authentic, especially this is about this old city.

A long awaited vacation to Crete!

Very modern and cosy place to stay in Rethymno, only 15’ walk from the old town. The lady in charge to manage the property was so helpful and polite too. I would only advise some of the facilities such as the iron or iron board exist in each room rather than sharing between the residents.

Very pleasant stay

The apartment is very well located right on the promenade. It's a 10- to 15-minute walk to the old town. Right below the apartments is a gym. (Nice to have) Room layout is perfectly fine. In the hallway in front of the apartments is a washing machine that you can use for free. The bed was comfortable. If you don't have enough pillow, you'll find a pillow and a blanket in the closet.

Very nice apartments on Crete in Rethymno. Everything is very clean, cleaned every day, comfortable and white-snowed bed. The apartments are completely in line with the description, very convenient location, right on the beach. Below are many cafes, supermarkets. Emmanuel is always in touch, very friendly and responsive. I recommend this hotel.👍🏻

We were there for eight days, and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The room is great, just like the photos. Service was top notch and the possibilities of doing things nearby were very great. This was my second time and I look forward to the next.

Quality

It’s just a beautiful place to stay whilst in Rethymno. Spacious, well maintained, elegant contemporary decor, efficient service, attention to detail and actual intent and effort into ensuring that the end user (customer) is comfortable. The sound and the view of the waves the moment you open the balcony is soothing and coupled with the constant light breeze makes for a beautiful setting by itself. A 15 minute walk to the old town, but, hardly an issue as the terrain is mostly flat and thus a comfortable walk. We were given a complimentary Wine when we checked in, which is rare these days and makes you realise the effort which is being put in. 
A special shout out to Emanuella (she usually handles the reception) who was quite helpful and gave some wonderful suggestions. In fact, she even made a reservation for us at a very popular eatery and followed up as well. 
The only little criticism is that the bed itself was not the best, could be the nature of the mattress used. Else it was just perfect and if the bed issue didn’t exist then a 5/5 rating would be warranted. 
Being bang opposite the beach is a definite advantage. 

What a beautiful place

Very good room, quite large, with a lateral view on the sea from the balcony. When we arrived, a bottle of wine was ready for us. The location is also near the city center, and very close to the sea. 
The bathroom had no window, but on the overall everything was great.
