It's like going back into the 70's while checking in, from the rooms to the cafeteria-like hotel restaurant. the furniture is offensive in a 3 stars hotel (i wonder how on earth are they able to keep those 3 stars), the beds are old, but quite comfortable, the tiny bed sheets were constantly moving, letting me sleep on the mattress. The bathrooms are bad (i stayed in an apartment and in the private hall there are 2 bathrooms - one with the wc ant the other, across the hall, with the sink and the shower. so if you want to wash your hands, cross the hall and also wait if there is someone using the shower), the shower curtain is tiny and the drain is cluttered, so there is a big chance you will have a pool in the bathroom. 
The restaurant looked like an 80's cafeteria, the food was average, not too bad.
The hallway at the reception looked nice, the only place in the hotel with wi-fi connection, and even so, the connection was very poor or didn't work at times. also the common bathrooms were renewed and looked nice. I feel like i was tricked, as a tourist, as i got inside and it was nice, and then you go further inside, and you see that you have to stay in those rooms.
During the night the lighting around the hotel didn't work in some areas, so it was an adventure to walk without a flashlight.
The location on the outside is very nice, very close to the lake (about 30 meters).
Overall it's a Communist hotel that didn't see much investment in the last 20-30 years.

Traveling back in time, not in a good way

First off, we had a party or 12. None of the rooms were ready. When they were i noticed just one small, thin sheet on the bed with a comforter. Under the sheet was blood. Went to turn the light on and it looked as though they had filmed a xxx movie in there. I asked for another room while showing them photos. They refused and I left to sleep on the bus. No refund no nothing!

If you are into Survivor type dares this is the place for you!

Equipment from '70, no renovation until 30 years. It is really amazing that that kind of building can have any star... For wat? Towels which were lying from half a year without loundry? Any equipment has it's price - be careful when you use it it can broke and maybe manager use this pricelist to charge you! Really disgusting!

Worst worst worst

Booked this for the Balaton Sound Festival with 5 persons.
Rooms are 1970s quality, no clean sheets/towels, no airco, room did not get cleaned. Only WiFi in the lobby, and it even sucks there. Private beach gets crowded on weekends, so its not that private.

Best thing to do is to go next door to the beach where u can rent stuff for watersports.

Worst hotel ever

No clean sheets, no clean rooms, no airco, broken doors, no shower curtain -> swimming pool in the bathroom. We had to check out before 9:30 to avoid extra charges of 5000HUF/30 minutes. Spend your money wisley and stay away from this hotel.
