I stayed here, and was a really good experience. The staff was very nice and helpful, gave me all the informations I needed. They have a map made by them, full of recommendations. The place was very clean, organised, and calm. I think I'll always come to this small Hostel when I'm back to Budapest.

this place is nice

This small Hostel is really cute. I stayed together with two friends from University 4 days in this Hostel last october, and everything was perfect. The location is the best in the city, you can reach every part by walking, no need for transportation. The rooms are basic, but it is what it is, c'mon, its a Hostel with 6 or 8 beds in one room. Actually even this rooms are spacious. The staff was nice, the owner and the volunteers were really friendly and some nights we went out together. On our trip we went to 3 different cities but I never found an atmosphere like that. I'm pretty sure I'll be back next summer!

I disagree with any of the negative reviews

The bathroom and the bathroom are a nightmare. The beds with spring mattresses are uncomfortable. The staff share the bedrooms with the guests which they use both living room, dining room and office..so there is noise all the time. (Welcome to new guests, bells, music in the evening...)

It's not a very pleasant experience.

I don't know where to start... many points have already been said, but the problem is that some are in the hospital, but maybe some more details don't go wrong... I spent a few days in another hostel, and I had to move because I wasn't available to extend the reservation. Undoubtedly the cheap price and location are positive factors, but as already said by other users it's much better elsewhere by adding just a few spices.
