Small but fine: Citadella is located in the middle of a fantastic, wonderfully maintained garden. A small disadvantage: it takes about 30 minutes to drive up from the city to the boarding house. Fortunately, bus line 27 runs to just before the boarding house, so it is quite conveniently accessible despite the distance. Citadella has just 3 apartments, which together can use a mini kitchen and a dining/seating suite. Very convenient. The rooms are fully equipped; for guests with disabilities: the foam is very, very soft, i.e. you sink a little. The rooms are freshly furnished and high-quality. The breakfast is quite reasonable: the price was just $8 per day, but the price was also calculated with the help of the internet.

Oasis over the city

The rooms are wonderful, and very spacious. The view is beautiful.  The location is close to the Elisabeth Bridge, and easy to get around from.

Worth every dollar!

The house is located on the hills of Buda, 280 m (or 4 min) from the hotel Gellert, under the Statue of Liberty. The road to the guest house DO will require some effort, as it goes up the mountain. However, getting to the tramway or by metro to the station of Móricz Zsigmond körtér, you can take the bus No. 27, which will take you to the Rezeda utca, which is 280 m (or 4 min) from the hotel Gellert, reaching the entrance to the house. Three rooms in the guest house DO are provided, which can go out into the main hall - the kitchen-all-room.

House on the hill

Imaging sitting in the garden that surrounds Citadella Guesthouse, hearing the sirenes in the distance, but only sirenes once a while. The view is beautiful, seeing the Donau and the statue on Gellert Hill. That is how close you are to the city without the traffic noise or their smell. It only takes a 5 á 10 minutes walk to enjoy a good cup of copy on top of Gellert hill and enjoy the amazing view all around. When you want to walk from Liberty bridge to the guesthouse it takes 20 minutes. Partly stairs and steep asphalt pavements. Along the way there are enough trees to provide shade. The stops for tram and busses are direct at Liberty bridge. You'll even find enough restaurants close by as well as shops. 
When arive at the guesthouse you see the well lighted, gatedoor. Behind the gate there is a 20/25 steps stairs to the house. You can also choose to go right and take path to the main entrance. You'll see a shaded spot to enjoy an outdoor breakfast and a 30 cm deep little pool. So refresshing when you enjoyed a long walk to put yr feets into the water. Take the stairs and enter a small living. There is a stove, oven and refridgerator. Even a Nespresso coffee machine (1 euro a cup) Tea and biscuits are free. There are enough cups, plates and glases. It is cosy. The rooms are spacious with good beds and a fan. The bathrooms are clean and luxurious. The shower is good. The owner speaks English and German, but German always suits.

Enjoying the city life by view and hearing...... in a quiet surounding

Once again excellent service and food. without a doubt I recommend this iconic place of Menorca for dinners with friends or as a couple. its terrace will make you fall in love with it as well as its posters. congratulations to the whole team.
