Okay hotel for a very short stay, basic infrastructure, AC and TV were functional. Breakfast was provided but for lunch/dinner you will have to go outside. There are a few good options nearby, however you will have to walk for some time Or get an auto/uber.

Ideal City Centre Sleepover Hotel 

In a  superb location in the middle of town its what you'd expect of a city-centre hotel. It has basic facilities at a modest price.  It was clean enough, the room was comfortable enough, and the staff were very welcoming and efficient. Not a place to linger on-site, or for a long stay, but definitely adequate if you're going to be out all day and just return to sleep.

Being bang in the centre of India's largest and busiest city the traffic noise is intrusive, although you'd 'tune it out' after a while. We had room 301, next to the lift which has noisy hand-operated steel gates. I guess all the 01s on each floor are the same so best avoided.

Finally, the hotel is on a main road at a busy junction which makes taxi access difficult. Specify the adjoining side road (not the GPO side) for drop-off and pickup. It will save a lot of time.

We notice that the online hotel info shows 'Paid Wifi'; it's free, and reasonable speed. It also shows 'Outdoor Pool'. We didn't go exploring the facilities but unless it's on the roof we would say there probably isn't one. If it's important to you the check before booking.

Ideal City Centre Sleepover Hotel

I stayed at this hotel very recently with my family by booking the room via Booking.Com
It is a budget hotel with basic amenities and probably good for people going to  Mumbai for business.
Rooms are average compared to the budget.
House keeping people are co operative though not professional.
Front desk staff also don't seem professional but okay considering the moderate tariff of the hotel especially in Mumbai.
The Location is good as it is near Gateway and Kolaba.

My Recent Visit to the Hotel Landmark Fort

For the kind of rooms it has to offer, I found this hotel to be a bit expensive. Bed was very small and our room was infested with cockroaches. Linen was not up to the mark. Breakfast was average. The only good part was that they offered us a room to freshen up in the evening even though we’d checked out in the afternoon. 

Better options available

The location of the hotel is very convenient - very close to the central railway station and from the Kovaba, and from the Marin drive. From a positive, perhaps, and all... The hotel is stopping by groups. For example, a team of hockey players or some other athletes of noisy teenage years lived with us at the same time. The room is very small dirty. In general, the hotel has 2 types of rooms: some club variant (it is on the picture in the search engines!) and the one we got, and which they have to call improved.

It's awful.

Have been staying in this hotel every month since last 3-4 years... Its a very nice hotel.. But this time service was very poor mainly in restaurant during breakfast... Firstly there was a big group of students.. When they used to come for breakfast, staff was not able to handle other travelers... An experienced & young waiter was not present who used to be very supportive in restaurant.
Secondly I had to leave early one day, I requested the reception to provide me only bread and butter, but they said that they can provide after 6.30 only and at 6.30 they will provide in 2 minutes only.. I reminded again at 6.30, but no bread butter was served till 6.40... I had to leave empty stomach for the day....


Disappointed Service this time 

We arrived at Hotel Landmark Fort and was shown into our room of Deluxe category. @3200+ per night we were in for a rude shock. Rooms were smelly, bathrooms and basins stained beyond imagination. We asked for change of rooms via our agent and were shown super deluxe and club rooms. These rooms were comparatively much better. Club rooms were really great. 
The service and food served surely deserves mention and you will enjoy the stay in club rooms. Hence the title.

Choose your rooms carefully

A quite affordable hotel in the heart of Mumbai, with only 6000 rupees per day for a double bed ac room. Breakfast, complementary, is okayish. The rooms are cozy and nicely maintained. The best part is the hotel staff, which is very agile and very courteous. The location is also great, being situated in South Mumbai and just adjacent to Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. 

Nice hotel for a stay in Mumbai

Location is nice, staff is friendly and supportive, breakfast was also good but room was not upto the mark as there were stink in the room, ventilation was also not proper and washroom was pathetic. In all an average place to stay. 

The hotel is located not far from the Chhatrapati Shivaji railway station. It is quite a clean hotel with the same rooms, but with dirty underwear. Good breakfast.
