Very disappointed with the accomodation. Expecting seaview only to be faced with an enclosed area and no view. The window to the outside area which was shared with another flat did not lock. The flat was not clean and in very poor condition. Smelly fridge which was not switched on. Sheets were poor quality and badly creased. Towels not much better. Not recommended

Disappointing

I was met by helpful and friendly security. The hostess guided my to my apartment on the 10th floor with a view of the ocean and nightly volleyball matches below. Washing machine and full bath. Separate living room and bedroom with flatscreens in both. Kitchen….refrigerator/ elements for stovetop cooking.  Great for quiet time or down to very clean beach with nice people. 

I learned how to get to Grand Canyon Mall and other shopping malls and to make connections between Haifa, Accra…Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. I felt very much at peace and on vacation. Thank you!

(Don’t forget that there is a grocery store on the Almog/Leonardo complex open until midnight…they also have beer and wine…fresh vegetables… meats…breads..fruits and items to stock kitchen including spices.)

The business was in December. Since we had to move from Tel Aviv to Haifa, and before December 24 everything was busy, we bought beautiful photos from the booking. We'll start with the fact that the building was murdered. Probably 15 years ago it was a premium, but now everything leaves sadness and decay. They walk in the hall in sportswear clearly not a professor's, they smoke and blow. In the elevators the panel with the buttons falls out, smells. Everything is killed.

It's a ghetto, get out of there.

Be careful! This place has amazing reviews on booking.com but the reality is that it is filthy and unkept! The bedsheets were used with hair, stains, makeup smears. The shower sink had blood drops, the entire room was full of sand and dust. Half the lamps were lot working. TV in the rooms not working, fridge only semi working, ac without regulating temp. This is without mentioning the level of maintenance of the kitchen and bathroom. Moreover we booked a 92 km apartment that turn out to be much smaller. 
When talking to the lady owner- ela, she screamed at us and kicked us out! She claimed we messed up the room. When trying to write the review on booking the owner blocked the order so we could not write and warn others. Be aware that the reviews on booking are amazing but this is all a lie. Stay away!!!!!

Weekend in almog apartments

This is a hotel with a rich wildlife. Cockroaches in the rooms, dogs pooping in the hallways and peeing on all the front door, and rats running over your feet right at the front door. It actually cleared holes in my skin.
The room was filthy, dishes was not washed properly. Old toys and various other things under the sofa from other guests. The room smelled of mildew. There wasn't enough sheets for everyone. We had to sleep with our own blankets. We stayed there for a week and it was not possible to change towels and there was no washing facilities. We went to the reception every day, no one could speak English, only that we had to come back in the morning, it turned out to be a lie, no one came all week. It turned out that they also spoke English. The landlord disclaims all responsibility and refuses to answer us. I do not recommend anyone to rent here!!!!

Very good location opposite to the beach.
The apartments we rented ( 1 nd 2 bedroom ) were  very spacious,with a kitchen,washing and drying machine and free parking in front of the building.
Ella,their manager, was an excellent host always available to help with our needs.
There  is no reception, it is an apartments building ,she will meet you and give you the keys to access the units.

Very good location

Unfortunately we  had incredibly negative experience staying  in these apartments.  The room was very small  and  dilapidated:  the cracked  iron,  melted  microwave, no hair dryer, the  malfunctioning  electric stove,  melted sockets in the  the bathroom ,  toilet  covered in bright  rustic stains ,  unclean looking , overused, stained  towels ,  no safety deposit box, (i had to care all my valuables with me all the time). The   room   had   very small table and 2 chairs  which  looked like  they were   picked  from the trash, the owner of the apartment didn't invest much in  making it more comfortable or presentable , but was charging us a 100 $ a night, not exactly very cheap considering the condition of that apartment .  1 of 3 elevators  in the building  were  constantly broken, the territory around the apartment  was not clean , the  huge piles of cutted benches  mixed with  palm leaves  and other trash were sitting around the  building  for all 9 days we were staying there. Our  agent denied  our  request  to change the apartment for additional pay , she  was incredibly rude and  unprofessional,  was yelling  at  me   when on our evening time arrival  i dared to ask her  to give us password  for wifi  and  to  change the towels  and   sheets  because they had stains on them.   She didn't like that we were bothering her at evening time  forgetting that we paid full amount  for the room and for her services.Her conduct left me in tears and an additional  dose of blood pressure medications. Please don't deal with agents  personally, it is better to order online,  they gave better prices and better rooms and you always can put the reviews on their websites. always ask how many sq, ft  in the  room.  don't trust  the advertisement  about safety deposit boxes , don't trust pictures of the rooms on the websites  Be careful if you have mobility problems  and want to go to the beach  , there is  the  long stairway with 3 -4 flights  with no handicap ramp and no elevators .  The beach has  just  few  ramadas, no  rental chairs, no beach towels, no umbrellas. The  small restaurants  next to the beach are excellent  and affordable  - the only positive experience we had in that " popular place"

The Almog apartments used to belong to a hotel built in the 1990's on the beach promenade. 
We stayed at a two-bedroom suite an ample living room, a balcony with a great view of the sea, a tiny kitchen, dining table, Wi-Fi and cable TV.
We loved being so close to the sea, and the promenade was excellent for walks and jogging (we did both). Also we prepared some of our meals.
What deserves improvement:
The building urgently needs a renovation, it's not in good condition to say the least.
The hallway was often smelly (I guess the carpets need cleaning).
We didn't have enough chairs (got only 3).
Not enough utensils (cutting board, kitchen towels, knives), cups, etc.

Prime Location

We just stayed here for a couple of days while visiting family in Haifa. The position is good with a great view overlooking the beach. The communication was poor between the agent and us. The apartment was really not well serviced. It did not have a hair dryer, tea towels, dishwashing powder washing machine powder ,tea, coffee ,sugar etc. Make sure you bring absolutely everything with you. It would have been nice to have some instructions or tourist information in English in the apartment.
