A boarding house in Italy, a half-abandoned village, many houses in ruins to rehabilitate. The boarding house lacks an elevator, air conditioning, refrigerator, or a sad ventilator. The room gives a common terrace where there are several rooms and if you open the balcony to try not to get hot, you see all the neighbors who go out to the common terrace to smoke, except that tobacco smoke enters your room. At 4:00 a.m. you hear some trucks empty bricks, then several dogs stealing and all this with the door open because if the doors close you will die of heat. In one episode to forget and a price for this accommodation of 117€, there is no bar on the premises or where to buy a bottle of water, no restaurant is there is no advertisement that we can go to a village without a meter of bread, but I think we can go to the door to buy a pizza.

Very but very normal.

There are several things I have appreciated about this accommodation, but two of the things I would like to point out to you: the kindness of the host (I remember with great pleasure the nice chat we had during breakfast before departure) and the quality of the food I serve for dinner.

This is the second time I've been to dinner with them, I really appreciate the preparation of their dishes.

Second Dinner

We stayed for 2 nights at this inn along the Ligurian Mountain Highway. We were immediately impressed by the family's hospitality and the cleanliness of the room to which the restaurant's abundance and excellent quality of meals were added.

Availability and sympathy.

Guesthouse with excellent service, clean and carefully maintained cuisine, affordable and friendly owners and typical local cuisine, excellent and abundant.

Good accommodation

We stayed two nights in this beautiful building, all very nice, well furnished, very comfortable bed, very quiet place. A note about the restaurant's cuisine, all well prepared with excellent quality ingredients.

Good experience

Our host greeted us warmly and set the tone for our stay at Trattoria San Rocco which was as comfortable as it was attractively appointed. The bedroom looked like it was recently remodeled, with comfortable beds, great closet space, good lighting, and plenty of outlets to recharge our phones. The bathroom was large and modern, with a heated drying rack and wonderful shower. There was a good sized sitting room with comfortable furniture. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic – great food and service. The apartment is upstairs so no restaurant noise or odors (though they would have been welcome!) creeped into the space. The building is in an excellent location, close to the center of town and near the glass museum which looks amazing but was unfortunately closed when we arrived. Thanks to Claudio Simonetti who maintains a website that lists lodging options along the Alta Via dei Monti Liguria, and who helped us get there after our day’s hike.

Wonderful accommodations!

After having lunch here with our families, during the Christmas holidays, and on Valentine's Day last year, my boyfriend and I once again granted ourselves a special evening in this local feature of the Bormida Valley, almost at the borders with the sea.

We stayed at this inn for one night, the room is great, spacious and with a nice terrace, the fantastic owners have reserved for us a warm and family welcome.

Great accommodation and great rooms!

We slept in the inn for one night only, without eating in the restaurant. What can I say? The room and the structure are spacious, clean, comfortable. The area is quiet and the girl who welcomed us warm and caring. She also left us breakfast ready (cold food, of course) because our departure was at dawn before the opening of the bar. Recommended!
