This hotel is a total gem. Our pine-clad and quiet room 210 had a jaw-dropping view of the mountain, so we could watch the sunrise and sunsets changing light on its face. Breakfast was so generous - cheeses, eggs, meats, pastries, delicious bircher muesli and fresh fruit. You can hire a lunchbox to fill with picnic delights. Dinner was inventive and generous - the freshest salad and fine soups, excellent fish and meat, and tempting deserts. The saunas are superb and the cold Kneipp bath  is great for soothing tired hiking legs; massages also very good.
There is a cosy fire for pre-dinner drinks or book reading.
The smarter restaurant is elegant and with a very high standard of food, again creative and delicious.
The staff at breakfast bring positive energy and the  family are helpful and always present.
We highly recommend this very special place.

We start with the strengths: kitchen and location. Definitely quality cuisine, well presented in a very well-maintained restaurant. The location: six km from the chaos of the tourist field, there is nothing but nature. For us more than positive. If you are looking for shops or some local you have to go down to the tourist field. In this respect the bus is in front of the hotel very convenient. It is obvious that the restaurant (there is also the Arcana restaurant inside) is something they care about in particular, perhaps at the expense of the hotel.

Some Things to Improve

I stayed in August. Hotel located in a beautiful mountainous setting, very quiet Appreciated the cleanliness and breadth of the room. The same cannot be said of the kitchen service for both breakfast and dinner: too demanding for what was offered. And then leaning on the buffet... it's all said.

Much to improve

Very cozy structure, very nice staff and charming location although not exactly two steps from Campo Tures. The only new thing was the lack of a playroom/playground for children. An excellent dinner with high-quality food definitely above average. An excellent breakfast.

A week at the Moosmair

Family hotel, modern and rustic with a nice wellness area.Managed by a very friendly family and offering dishes of excellent quality.Bus stop in front of the hotel.The hotel also has a café/bar and a gastronomic restaurant.

Charming hotel in the mountains

This is our first time at the hotel, and we've been noticed by a post on Servus TV. Everything here is done with heart, reception, service, kitchen and room staff. Every step at the dinner is neatly spiced with different herbs. We feel very comfortable and come back safe.

In the picturesque Italian town of Ahornach Südtirol, at an altitude of 1400 meters, there is a restaurant with excellent cuisine. The atmosphere of the hotel and the restaurant; and also the love of the food prepared can not leave the lovers of Italian cuisine indifferent. Good wines and a variety of homemade lemonade, dessert......all this will surprise you in this restaurant.. I recommend you to visit this place.

An excellent structure. A week lived in complete well-being and relaxation. A spacious room with a spacious bathroom. Staff and very kind owners. Every dinner a taste meeting with the culinary wisdom of the Chef. A more than merited Bravo, which masterfully combines the products of Maso with those at KM 0. A small but well-equipped SPA overlooking the garden, then relax in the hands of Anna. Well-structured breakfast. Campo Tures a few Km away offers you all the attractions even for those who do not want to go on the many itineraries. Prices with the right compromise. To be remembered. Thank you.

Getting Cocked

Located in a wonderful setting, rich in tips for any walks and trips. Great for those wishing for a quiet vacation, the hotel is not too close to densely populated areas. Very beautiful and clean rooms daily. We greatly appreciated the fact that the bathroom room was separated from the shower room. We strongly recommend booking dinner as well, as fresh and local products are used for very well-treated, tasty and well-researched dishes.

Strongly advised, watch out for drinks

We were part of an organized hiking tour, were Moosmair was the daily start and end point of our tours. We always had great breakfast and dinner and the rooms were really cozy. Service was very friendly and it was great to enjoy a sauna after a bad weather day. Recommended if you are looking for something special in a great nature location.
