After booking confirmed 1st September, balance made, congratulations for 2nd bed with immediate balance 2nd September.entry scheduled 15th September.all ok even if not requested we are also offered transfer from cannibals station to B7B.seems all perfect.Today 8th September we receive laconic, cold communication from Mrs Serena with whom we communicate DOVER cancel the booking.without any reason, without explanation, without replay, without excuse.So we left the client standing adducing his right, in the face of theoretical customers regulation, to cancel the terms never embarrassed.a very absurd behavior, very from any business management behavior of the client, a very logical behavior, immotivated behavior, a very distant discourse that we have had to think about the damages reserved even to this.

It's terrible.

Charming place immersed in the green and with a view of the lake from the rooms that is beautiful... very quiet, excellent cleaning and carefully cared for in the smallest detail, with a rich and super-cured breakfast with lots of homemade bread, strawberries, crusted, dried fruit and much more!

A dream with open eyes

The rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Beautiful garden and terrace overlooking the lake. Convenient location to reach the lake and many nearby villages all to discover. The service and hospitality are unique!

A Warm Corner of Paradise

This place has more than you want. An intimate, welcoming place, run by exquisite people and sincerely interested in their guests. The B&B is in the heart of the village, very close to the lake with a beautiful view. The rooms are impeccable, the breakfasts and the fragrant access road are unforgettable. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable. A place you would never want to leave and definitely go back to. I take this opportunity to thank the owner Serena for the warm hospitality!

We're going back!

Serena Schiratto has very well equipped her B&B and treats her guests very lovingly. A good breakfast is the perfect start to the day. The wonderful panorama over Lake Candia, to Turin, to Monviso shows that you can experience a lot around Candia in a short distance. Walks in the nature, sightseeing of castles such as Agliè or Masino, Ivrea and Biella are not far away and even to Turin it is just 40 km. Serena knows the area and gives tips for cheap transport links, good taverns, enothèques and wine cellars.

The right choice!

We chose Finestra sul Lago because we wanted to be near the restaurant Gardenia (excellent/Michelin rated). What a pleasant surprise to be welcomed into a lovely B&B that stands alone on its own merits. The owner, Serena, has created three recently renovated rooms all connected to a large kitchen space and a beautiful patio. We stayed in the room with a private bath. The breakfasts included fresh baked items and fruit from the local area all prepared with attention to the quality of the ingredients. Serena embraces the Slow Food (a unique world wide organization which started in Italy) philosophy and was able to suggest a quality restaurant in Ivrea for our second night, as well as a visit to the unique "Eataly" food court in Torino ... about a 50 minute drive and definitely worth a visit. We used the day to relax, explore the local village and visit the castle in Masino. It is always a joy to be hosted by an owner who has a genuine interest in those who travel. You will leave, as we did, with a desire to return.

You Won't Be Disappointed!

Lovely family house. Will meet you in the village of Germignaga and show you the way to their house which is up a steep hill. Lovely big room with big balcony and a shared bathroom, but there are only 4 rooms here. Nice breakfast with lovely jams and coffee. About a 20 min walk to the little village and if you cant get a taxi - a 30 min Very steep walk back but do-able! Nice overnight stop.

Beautiful house with stunning lake views

The B&B is in Candia Canovese, a beautiful, tiny historic town just a short drive or train-ride from Turino.  The house itself is newly remodeled, and the view is stunning. The owners are also really good people.  So(!) friendly and accommodating... They printed out the train schedules for us without us even asking, and another time they drove us to the train station at the drop of a dime when we missed our bus.  Really wonderful hosts.

If you love good food, they are related to the head chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant Gardenia in the nearby town of Caluso.  Excellent food and, again, very friendly service.  When we asked them to call us a cab home, our server gave us a ride!

We'd love to go back and spend more time exploring the small towns in the area.  Beautiful surroundings, really friendly people, and excellent food.
