Grottammare

Short review: very close to the sea, very clean, very comfortable. Long review: room for rent that is located 5 minutes walk from the sea and 10 minutes walk from the bus stop arriving at Grottammare. I was in August and the price included also the use of umbrella and cot at the owner's factory, 5 minutes walk, very convenient. Chambers furnished in a simple way but nothing is lacking; the Nord, very spacious and comfortable, as well as the bathroom, with a wide window; the ceiling was often very quiet despite there being no air conditioning but a ventilator on the roof, and the days were very hot, often I didn't even use the generator.

Good value for money

Bad experience: We booked for 6 days and after less than 15h we canceled the booking!!! It is an apartment turned into a bed and breakfast used against human livelihood. The size of our room did not exceed 9 square meters, (the site reported 16) two windows with wall view of the building in front, room very hot and sinking with only a ceiling ventilator that squeezed (we could not sleep), sheets were unfiltered, only two small towels per head, no bathroom set, except a bag of 5 ml of soap.

Weight

We wanted to explore the Adriatic after Conero and among the various locations we liked Grottammare. The B&B 43 seemed like the ideal solution. Comfortable in the center, on the beach etc. Well, everything perfect, like feeling really at home. Very nice location, furnished in a simple way but researched in detail and accommodation, especially the breakfast room, the living room and the night hall where there are 4 rooms. These are spacious bright with private bathroom, furnished with taste and in tint. Serena the owner, very available and very friendly, has produced herself for every gastronomic and cultural request.

Extreme cleanliness, continuous attention to customer needs, availability and cordiality. The place is central and 200/300 meters from the sea. What else to ask from a b&b that applies honest prices?

We spent several days in this excellent family-run B&B, enjoying the sea and the beauty of the area. The owner Serena is simply perfect: dynamic, always available and caring, friendly and never too invasive, We felt like home! The structure is all renovated, the rooms are functional and clean, breakfast is varied and abundant, nothing is ever lacking! Perfect is also the possibility, with this stay, to enjoy an umbrella in the family-run bathroom. The location is central and allows those who travel by car, to park within a short distance without any difficulty and for free. We definitely recommend and hope to be able to return, thank you Serena!
