Although it is not a huge hotel with many rooms and it lacks a swimming pool and elevator, it is still a hotel that has all the minimum comforts that a guy/a needs. I went in the company of a friend and we were very well received by the staff who immediately made themselves available for any eventuality. Very friendly and social as well. The room we had was number 19 and had two separate beds, 2 armchairs, a large closet with pinchers, TV desk and balcony.

It's a great hotel.

Hotel delabre, awful room, locker room, dirty, hole cover, broken lamp, it was awful, road noise, lots of mosquitoes in bonus.

Spacious and carefully cleaned room. The bathroom is also spacious. The hotel's location is excellent: two steps from the harbour (but not on the road where cars pass, so you'll be more relaxed), from the bus station (in every direction on the island), a few minutes' walk from a beautiful beach.

A very mixed experience…
On the good side
* friendly reception
* good breakfast (well beyond classic Italian breakfast)
* balcony onto trees and neighboring hotel garden
On the not so good side
* furnishing was very old in the room; the double bed was 2 beds pushed together
* we had tons of moscitos. I don’t mean like 5 - really lots. I believe moscito window shields might do the trick, but this way I slept very little chasing them off

Mixed experience - some great; some not so…

We had room 4, very good, large, private bathroom air conditioning... good bed, good pillows, and very clean! lots of towels and toiletries.

Ideal location and very good

Stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the time there.
The hotel is well run and clean and well located for everything central for the port area and beyond.
The good restaurants are less than 10 minutes walk away and you can walk to the castle.

Three nights on Ischia

I dropped the choice on Villa Hermosa having booked without too much advance. The reviews confirmed the excellence of the location, made the proximity to a hotel that does all the music until late at night. My terrace was pleasant and rigid. I wanted to say that I saw others of the more advanced structure about visibility and the anti-hygiene atmosphere. I can also say that the front door of the room was discreetly lit up, even in the morning, but I can't say anything about the hotel, even if it's a very clean, but I can't say anything about it.

Four nights with the family

The hotel needs renovation and even though it is in an alley, it is very noisy. You can hear everything through the walls and the corridor. Moreover, every night there's music coming from a nearby hotel that is very annoying: you can't find quietness and relax. It's better to consider other hotels for your stay, maybe in other areas of the island.  It's very expensive for what it provides.

Hotel to be renovated, very noisy

I usually don't leave reviews but, this time, I feel to write it. Extreme kindness, professionalism, cleanliness. These are the first adjectives that pop into my mind as soon as I think of Villa Hermosa. The hotel is right in the center, and 5 minutes walk from the dock of the watercraft and ferries. We felt welcomed into the family. The rooms, although not very new, have nice flooring and everything you need to give you the right comfort during your stay. Dinner is the most moving moment: you literally feel cocked with the precious dishes that your mom or grandmother would not love to prepare for you. The manager is a fortune of other times... a rarity of the day... a person who displays the logical roots of every business in this beautiful hotel, and we're going back to the family's business.

We spent 10 days, the hotel is in a great location near the harbor but on a quiet road. The very simple but clean room with balcony on the garden. breakfast I would say normally.
