Two nights' stay in the week of August. Great location close to the center and the starting points for the walks. Exterior very nice and neat, interior and rooms a little dated but all pleasant. Poor service, I expected local and more neat products for breakfast, instead present packaged, expired and inedible sweets. A little disappointed.

Disappointment

Located near the centre of Lana is convenient for all excursions. The hotel is pretty, the essential rooms (impeccable cleaning) but nothing is missing. The improvement area is definitely breakfast, I would make some extra effort with a sweet, eggs..........

Good location!

After 5 months we returned to this delightful property, masterfully curated by Mrs. Christl. Very clean rooms and common areas, good breakfast, charming location, excellent price.

Good to be back!

First of all, this was the worst breakfast I've had in South Tyrol, and I've been traveling in South Tyrol for the last 15 years. And to make worst matters even worse, we had to listen to the owner explain very loudly to another guest why it's unrealistic to expect a good breakfast. She's not a hotel. Eggs?! Too much trouble. Huh? She's stressed and unfriendly--that's for sure. When person in my group asked her what the intensely red juice was, the owner sort of snapped at her. "It's blood orange juice!" It was the sweetest, craziest blood orange juice I've ever tasted. 

We received two measly plates of cheese and mystery meat between four people. Two baskets of bread were on the table as if to say "this and no more". The coffee was undrinkable. 

The rooms are 60s style. The toilet ran continuously. The flowers on rhe balcony were dying. But it was cheap.

My recommendation is to pay a few more euros for a friendly atmosphere and a better breakfast. 

Pretty outside but basic inside

I spent two nights in this quiet boarding house near the centre of Lana and I found myself very well. In general in Upper Adige the hospitality, cleanliness and efficiency of the service are not discussed and this time too I was not disappointed. The hotel is nice, the essential rooms but nothing is missing. Breakfast included, good. Perfect reception and no problem. Rooftop. I recommend.

Excellent value for money!

We enjoyed the central location and the helpfulness of the hostess. Starting a conversation at the breakfast table can be a bit difficult, unless other guests ask for their breakfast.;-)

Family

It's been a very nice day again in Lana with the family atmosphere in Christl's house, the central location and the ambiance of the house convincing every time.
