We stayed a couple of days in Lecce and we chose this B&B thinking it was well organized. The location is convenient because it is in the center but we had trouble finding the building that accommodates it because the taxi couldn't reach it and on foot no one in the vicinity knew the place!! Not even the phone contact we had managed to give us the correct directions. After half an hour of rounds around we finally met with the lady who accompanied us to our destination.

I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is in a good location and has rooms furnished with good taste. Unfortunately in our room there was a boiler behind a wooden stand that made noise all night long.

Good location

A small room with recently renovated high ceilings and tastefully furnished. Very central location, two steps from Piazza Sant'Orzo. Breakfast with coffee/cappuccino and brioches in a bar in Piazza Sant'Orzo.

Beautiful, very central room but with noisy boiler inside

We booked a three-day stay in this B&B in Lecce. We were first in front of a locked door, a concierge - as in the description - there is no one. But Michaela was with us within 10 minutes and everything worked perfectly. The room was very nice, clean and we had 2 balconies. There was no view of the palazzo. There was no Wi-Fi for 2 of 3 days. Breakfast was at a cafe near the room, we received vouchers for it.

Beautiful and clean

This place is AWFUL. There weren’t a few things wrong, it was pretty much everything. Here’s a list:

1. No WiFi. (The router isn’t even configured)
2. No parking. You’ll simply be led to a public parking lot. 
3. Breakfast consists of one coffee and croissant only, at a restaurant, 5 minutes away. You must have a hotel coupon, we were not given any at check in (we had to wait each morning for the hotel lady to bring them to us?!) Trust me when I say, the restaurant isn’t fond of visitors from this B&B. In another post, I read they’ve asked the hotel to stop sending their guests. I’m sure that is entirely true!
4. There is no one waiting for you when you arrive, so don’t ring the bells! You have to scramble and call all the phone numbers associated with the hotel on Google, booking.com, etc in hope of reaching someone. We waited outside for 1 hr with two small children.
5. Bedsheets only. No quilt or blanket. My daughter used a towel as a blanket. 
6. New towels with plastic attached, never been washed. 
7. Broken shower. Company acted as if it just broke yesterday, although the hardware was removed. 
8. Unfinished electrical and water boxes, unfinished lighting.
9. Asking for cash upfront and expecting it, versus changing our credit card. We pushed back and all of a sudden we could use our card, after several attempts to lead us to a Bancomat. 

While the hotel employee, Michaela, tried her best to accommodate our issues it was an absolute disaster. DO NOT book this hotel and not expect exactly the same. They need to get their act together and based on other posts and local merchants familiar with the constant complaints, the hotel owners do not care at all. The ONLY thing in favor is the location. ONLY. 

DO NOT STAY HERE!

We book Saturday afternoon for the same night, the friendly and technically up-to-date owner makes us check in and book via whatsapp so far all right, we warn that we'll be arriving at the b&b at 8:30 and he shows up to us at 9 and 15 with 45 minutes of delay, informing us that our room booked from the afternoon had already been sold to a family and that he didn't remember having it already occupied...but so far a mishap can happen from time to time but the good thing is that instead of solving the disorder by finding another accommodation, calling and arranging our overnight (since he said he knew everyone) he invited us to do a research on booking and the second time he went away....

Disorganized

Nothing to do with the description made on the site... location hard to find and poorly reported, illegible the n.civico and sign equal to that of a private bell. manager and reception nonexistent, rooms (with good potential') best arranged and dirty, boiler room one meter from the bed (noisy and not isolated from the room and I don't think it's by law a similar situation....) dirt on the terrace with dated pigeon feces....do not work, change for payment (never seen in any other structure) breakfast not in a B&B but at an agreed bar, always with a difference in price, note that we booked with breakfast included in the price, even in the parking lot was not included in the booking of a similar situation....we had to pay a lot of taxes in the official structure...we also had to see what we have done in the courtroom...we also had to pay for what we have done in the courtroom...we had to see what we have done in the courtroom...we also had to do with the structure...we had to see what we have done in the courtroom...we had to do with the

A great disappointment to be avoided.

I spent a couple of days in this place and I have to say that yes the baby was renovated but when we got to the room there was no TV and no air conditioning.The next day we were moved to another room but guess what?????,behind a wooden door we found the boiler room of the whole building.Two nightmares with all kinds of noise.Ah the positive thing and breakfast you'll have at another place.the poor cleaning.

Disappointment

5 reasons you should avoid this Bed and Breakfast which is rather only bed:

1. The owner/manager lacks basic customer service skills and he doesnt care about his guests. One day before I arrived in Lecce I received an email in my email account addressed to a different person. When I called him to inform him about my arrival he didnt seem to know that I booked one of his room. When I arrived in Lecce he was still asking from which website I booked the room!

2. He doesnt use/have credit card machine! Although in the website states clearly that credit cards are acceptable he found an excuse that the machine was broken! He asked for cash, he took them and he didnt give us a receipt. Two days after I whatsapped him for receipt, he claimed that he sent it by email but I doubled checked my email even my junk mail and still as Im writing the review I havent received the receipt.

3. The property has no reception. You have to take the keys from the nearby cafeteria in central square which is also the breakfast place. Lecce is not London to navigate easily especially if you are a first time visitor.

3. Breakfast is served in the aforementioned cafeteria which is 5-7 minutes on foot. You have to present coupons and you get only one coffee and one croissant ( in Lecce coffe and croissant cost maximum maximum 5 euro!). The type of breakfast was not mentioned in the website!

4. Parking!!! Yes you need definetely a parking place especially in the tiny narrow and busy streets in the historic center. He promised us to give as a registered pass! I stayed 5 days in the property and Im still waiting for the car pass! Reminder almost every day to him. On the last day he said that the car pass was left in another guest's car.

5. The bedroom's interior is cosy but the furniture is minimum, not a single table to put your luggage. The tiny balcony it was dirty like hell from bird droppings ( see pictures). When it comes to the internet it didnt really work well. We whatsapped him to fix it but he didnt.

The guy took for five days 520 Euros (!!!) we saw him the first day when we gave him the cash and then he dissapeared. He has a certain attitude, he thinks that he is clever, he lacks basic communication skills, in all our requests he lied to us (very bad). It seems like a kind of fraud. Strolling the Lecce streets afterwards we found out that there are numerous B&B! Check them and good luck!
