We were there recently, the structure is in the center, the room is very nice and very clean and the owner is very kind. the BB is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. Breakfast was included and you could do it at the International Enoteca. The only problem is the parking, it is not nearby and it is paid (not very cheap, but this is no one's fault).

Very well, I 'd say.

I stayed in this B&B with my boyfriend on the weekend of the 29th and 30th of 2004 and we found each other very nice. The owner is very available and nice, the room with private bathroom inside, it is clean and very nice, overlooking the main street of Monterosso. Good quality price ratio. Breakfast, included in the price, is offered from a bar a few steps from the B&B. Overall we found each other very nice, I recommend it!

A pleasant stay

We stayed here one night and were a little late arriving and had to be very quiet because of the neighbours.  Also couldn't use the shower before 7 in the morning or after 10 at night because of the noise and not disturbing neighbours. The B&B is actually up quite a lot of stairs and there is no lift. You need to be fit to stay here!

There are no facilities to have a drink (glasses or kettle etc) so we had to go out and buy some soft drinks. When returning it was dark and we couldn't find the light in the hall way so it was very difficult getting back up to the B&B up all the steps!!

However the owner is very friendly and made us welcome. Breakfast is provided at a local cafe just a couple of minutes walk away. Just a hot drink and some orange juice with either toast and jam or a croissant. It was ok :)

The room is nice and the ensuite was fine. The only thing missing was a tray with cups and a kettle etc.)

The location is great and there is a little grocery shop almost next door.

Good location and friendly owner

Despite the goodwill and kindness of the owner, the property presents the following problems: - lack of a common space and reception; - lack of elevator to reach the 3rd floor where the property is located; - lack of electronic payment/cash advance payment; - lack of privacy given the structure of the apartment.

Elyse is a nice hostel.The room is located in the historic centre with a nearby public parking lot (10€ for 24h).The room is nice, very clean, with a good bed.The room is just a little bit small like the bathroom.It's a shame there is no elevator.The breakfast is taken for free in a café nearby.There is bread with butter jam or croissant.I think it could be a bit more cozy compared to the price of the room.

Nice room.

Third without an elevator. Very clean room. Antigua in a very quiet part of Monterosso, not in the same center but very close. The house is very friendly, attentive and serviced. We pay 80€ per night. The breakfast is right in a nearby bar. I recommend you.

Quiet and very clean room.

Donna Elyse was a lovely, friendly and welcoming host.  It really felt like we were being invited into her home.  Yes, she speaks only Italian, that's why I spent time learning some Italian before I came, as any educated person would.  She made absolutely sure we had everything we needed and the room and bathroom were spotless.

Breakfast was provided by a local café, where the service wasn't quite as genial, but we had a very restful night's sleep and Donna Elyse was more than happy to look after our bag until the evening of the following day, allowing us to explore the Cinque Terre unencumbered by luggage.

Tip: To find this place, follow the signs to the Farmacia and then look at the street numbers... you are close.

Mixed bag, but overall, positive

Had a lovely stay at B&B Élysé. We were welcomed by the owner who was lovely and although she can speak little to no English was very welcoming to us. We had to pay cash on arrival which we did find a splitter strange but as soon as we saw the room we knew our stay was going to be great. We had the large double room with had a separate bathroom but we had a oartition door making the bathroom like an ensuite. The room was lit and airy with a large wardrobe which locked, a TV and large windows. 

The wifi was not the quickest and the mini fridge was not working however the beauty of heroism rant we did no r mind this at all. The bathroom was clean and very homely, there is even a washing line outside the window where you can hang your clothes. 

It's localion was perfect on via Roma and there were many many restaurants very close by and a few really nice bars. Would recommend La Cantina Di Miky on the seafront, it is a great restaurant with very friendly staff.

Lovely and welcoming

It's took us to day 20 & our last day but what a fabulous wine bar El Dorado in Monterosso great service great beer focaccia & hot dog for lunch delicious, so good going back for a session tonight & pasta & pizza will definitely be our spot next year, great music also xx
