A magical place, a philologically perfect example of the most elegant architecture of the Mediterranean

We stayed in a quite dammuso, surrounded by palm trees. It was furnished in a simple but cosy way. The staff was nice and helpful. We loved the privacy and the view from the terrace.

Cons:
- the private street to get to
the dammuso is really poorly maintained and very bumpy... be careful 
- the dammuso has no air conditioning and ... this could be an issue over night since it gets very hot during the day
- the maintenance of the interiors and the kitchenware and cutlery is poor and some of them were not well cleaned when we arrived
  

Unused potential

We were enthralled by the tasteful facilities, great porcelain, beautiful linen bedding, wonderful location in the most beautiful part of the island, perfectly quiet with sea views. Of the other Tenuta guests you hear nothing. We were taken care of by Tenuta manager Sergio and his assistant Christian, who were always on site immediately. Next year we come back, because the island is the absolute dream.

Not to be overlooked - The most beautiful dammusi on Pantelleria

We came to Tenuto Borgia with high expectation because of the wonderful images of the place and the high price tag. Most expectation were met but the place does have some drawbacks. 

First of all, the property is beautiful. The downside of this is that it at the furthest point on the island from the main town. This was a plus for us as it’s very quiet and few cars drive by. 

The dammusi are very private and quite but quite isolated. So no one will bother you or be loud next to your room, but you might feel a bit removed from the life of the island. The isolation extends to that fact that there is no hotel life- no bar, no pool, no breakfast, no front desk. It’s basically like an Airbnb, which may or may not be what you are looking for. This might be perfect for some, but first timers to the island might have a problem being entirely on their own for food and even drinking water. 

The hotel manager is fantastic. Incredibly friendly and always just a text message away. 

Our dammuso was warm at night but that comes with the territory of the island. The place was also buggy which is an issue when you need to keep the windows open for the islands cool breeze. This was not enough to be a problem for us but could bother anyone who really doesn’t like insects or ants. 

You need a car if you stay here but that’s true of almost anywhere on the island.

A Nice Airbnb Experience

A magical and authentic place, in one of the most beautiful corners of the island. An immersion in the wild, among the vineyards and palm trees, without any noise. You feel alone in the world... Dammuso decorated with taste and comfort. A small well-equipped kitchen. A beautiful bathroom. A very pleasant shaded terrace. And most of all, a clear view of nature and the sea in the distance. Super welcome from Sergio for the organization of the stay and once on site. When we arrived, a bottle of Passito and the olive oil from the friendly area... Balachi Park is very well located: near the village of Reca and near the most beautiful areas: the Nicca, Martingana and the Turquesque.

It's magical!

If you've seen the 2015 movie The Big Bang, you can tell us a lot more about it. Some of them also have swimming pools, but don't be fooled, it's more like a big jacuzzi. The complex consists of several ladies of different areas and territories. The largest is the main house, which is, by the way, the very swimming pool in the movie. The rest of the houses are located on a fairly large area at the southern end of our island. Some of them also have swimming pools, but don't be fooled, it's more like a big jacuzzi on a plane.

A paradise away from people and turmoil

We were guests at the damuso Pineta... boys... of a beauty... Pantelleria enchanted us with its magic and with the wild beauty of its special nature in every corner... thanks also to being in one of the most beautiful Pantesche estates on the island.

It's wonderful.

we loved the peaceful atmosphere and the mediterranean landscape around us. The dammuso is decorated with "tanto gusto". Several places with shadow, sunny and cosy corners ... everyone finds his perfect personal chilling zone. 

Paradise - harbour of peace

I spent 10 unforgettable days with my family at the Tenuta Borgia di Pantelleria. A breathtaking location, with sea views, steeped in green, surrounded by bouganville, palm trees and aromatic plants, thrown away by a romantic sunset. The vineyard in which we stayed turned out to be a pleasant surprise: a well-equipped kitchen, a large patio for lunch and relaxation equipped with ducchena, a modern bathroom equipped with every comfort and spacious bedroom, yet remaining true to an original setting. Absolute privacy. I highly recommend it.

Between cappella and zibibbo...

Tenuta Borgia is a special place situated on nearly 35 acres of vineyard, caper fields, fruit trees and palms. The accommodations, private antique Dammusi, are beautifully renovated.  Airy and spacious, each one with unique features, all with private outdoor spaces.  Sergio (the Manager) and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a lovely week spent in an exotic place...
