Sikelia ticks all of the boxes - superb setting, food, rooms, views, location and staff. Even before we arrived, we felt looked after and special -  and this only continued throughout the holiday. From superb breakfasts to specially commissioned days out, nothing was too much trouble. Day 2 of being home and it is safe to say we are missing the amazing sunset cocktails and aperitivi, so much so we have gone to the Italian deli to try to recreate a snippet. We stayed half board and are very glad we did - every single course was delicious (and this is coming from an Italian - though our waistlines might be regretting it!). We also ate at the vineyard one evening which was a special setting and equally delicious food (also included in half board). We stayed in The Penthouse - the views were incredible and the room felt like our oasis within an oasis. Everything has been designed with the customer in mind - from the beds, linen and pillows you select, snack bar, Hermes toiletries, wonderful showers, and so on - it is rare we say this, but we will be back!

A Beautiful Oasis!

It's not recommended, it's very secretive, it's staff is cut and untied, prices are disproportionate. It's missing a menu list when you order - and when the bill arrives you're surprised: 90 euros in 3 for a glass of wine per person! We ended up just by chance - we were going to another restaurant on the property where we had booked, the restaurant was closed at the last minute due to bad weather but without warning.

Watch out for the crap.

It's a wonderful location, very well prepared staff and attentive to the detail of the customer. Care for the details, the possibility of organizing boat days, massages and tasting in the vineyards. I recommend if you want a relaxing and intimate holiday.

Bad experience... never happened to me if I needed raw fish sprinkled with salt... they charged me 40 euros for the dessert, today I called to get an explanation and no one called me back... experience to the limits of the embarrassing. you can't sell yourself for a Ferrari when you're at most a red panda (with all due respect for the red panda)

It's a great place.

It's a nice, fancy place, a very good rooftop appetizer, a few problems with the booking, but we've finally made it clear.

A chic corner.

For a beautiful, upscale sunset experience come to this extraordinary hotel for aperitivi on the roof of the dammusi looking out to sea over the ancient landscape. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, bringing us cocktails and delicious canapés from the restaurant as we watched the sun go down. Another charming experience on this magical island. Highly recommended.

Sunset aperitivi

Following some reviews, we decided with friends to stop for an aperitif at sunset. Nice and well-kept location but far from the sea, friendly staff but unprepared. Poor quality cocktails served at different times and accompanied by a very small tray of local products. No musical background to accompany the moment.

A very salty appetizer

Everything is perfect. We arrive by private plane at the airport of Pantelleria, immediately to welcome us we find the hotel's van and two guys ready to welcome us. The hotel looks like a small corner of paradise, the huge suite and a mega plate of local fruit as a welcome gift. Outside the hotel we already find the car parked for the exploration of the island that we had requested earlier. All the friendly, available staff, dinner in the hotel's delicious restaurant area, as well as the aperitif seen, on the roof of the Damuso. A Luxury Retreat that has totally met our expectations.

Relax Luxo and cuddles for the customers:

I don't usually leave reviews on the hotels/resorts I go to, but in this case I can't help but make an exception. Sikelia is a magical place and the people who work there are even more. Attentive to every detail and every customer request, always available, sunny and kind. We spent a week in this luxurious retreat and we pulled the plug in the true sense of the word, spoiled at every moment of the day. We took two boat trips with the Esperanza Boat and everything was organized well.
