Thanks to Enzo and his family for the wonderful stay, it made us feel at home... highly recommended to discover the real Ponza, an island that makes you fall in love... abundant breakfast and priceless views.

A wonderful place run by a kind, hospitable, welcoming family I felt cocked and welcomed as a family person thanks to Enzo and his wife and brother Franco who gave us a day on a boat that we will carry in our hearts.

Feel at home in a wonderful place.

We spent 5 nights in Casa Carmela, a quiet haven above the port of Ponza. To get there you have to climb up a little, but on arrival you will find a beautiful terrace and above all an invaluable reception. Enzo and Maria Grazia are exquisite hosts, of kindness and humanity outside the commune. There are things that could be improved in terms of maintenance, but their hospitality makes them negligible.

Oasis of Peace and Kindness

If you want to enjoy a holiday in total relaxation, Carmela house is the place for you!!On your arrival, if you have any difficulties in reaching the structure, the very kind owners will pick you up directly at the ferry landing. Once you arrive at the structure, you will find yourself enjoying a breathtaking view (photo attached). The rooms of Carmela house are spacious and essential, as Ponzese tradition wants. When you wake up, you will be cocked with a plentiful breakfast served directly in the outdoor space relevant to the wonderful Boubou (the structure's many rooms as well as a very simple, available and always sorrowful boy).

The perfect vacation at the moment!!!!!!

Everything is absolutely perfect, since the trip was organized there has been a great willingness from Enzo and Mariagrazia to come and pick us up at the landing. On arrival a delicious donut to welcome us and then how not to mention the beautiful terrace overlooking the harbor.

What a spectacle

The structure is nice but with little reception from the manager, very small bathrooms and with little water not to mention the street to get there, no lights and my less bad companion who had the cell phone charged and the torch allowed us to finally find the place again in addition to this always the manager who I think is in agreement advised us to have dinner in a place near their mountain guard tractory, saw the discourse vividly, ate not badly but very badly and to assume that I already had in mind to go back to another restaurant in the area already dinnered in July with a group of friends and you really liked the area.

I'm going to be a little late.

Bad experience. Beautiful view only positive thing. Not suitable for a steep family and dark streets. Bathrooms that you have breakfast under the sun umbrella. We had to pay a taxi x to get there and we were not refunded as the arrangements were these. The patio is dangerous if you go barefoot. The structure is neglected and to be improved.

Not to be repeated

We spent a week at Casa Carmela. I'm sure it wasn't our first time on this island and that we hadn't been able to fully enjoy the kitchen, which had only a few years before. The house has a very nice view of the harbour which, however, is partly appreciated as it was hidden from the garden plants, not very clean. Our apartment was spacious, furnished in a simple way (also too) but it is in the ponzese style. Unfortunately we could not fully enjoy the kitchen which had only a functioning supply and this prevented us from having dinner in the house, as we would have wanted to do some evenings, for our tradition.

Almost perfect.

The kindness, hospitality, and multiple attentions of the owner make this structure a note of ponza reliability, a house on the harbor with truly cardboard views, an excellent and abundant breakfast, the structure could be excellent with very little.

The sea is all

My husband and I stayed at Casa Carmela for a week, and everything was perfect: real hospitality, like being in the family, garden breakfasts with homemade sweets served either by Enzo or Bubu, both very nice. Pleasant chats, nice atmosphere and clean, cool and spacious apartments, the terrace with a spectacular view of the sea, on which we spent beautiful moments. Ponza is beautiful, and making every day the stairs to go down and up from the harbor certainly didn't make us happy: free gymnastics with a fabulous view. The presence of Pluto and 2 beautiful kitties has made our days cheerful. And lastly the climate has been for, but this is not Enzo, this is also because of Ponza Silver. If you go to Casa Carmelo, Ponza is the best choice.
