I stayed for one night at this hotel on the occasion of the visit to the Vatican museums. Great as a location, it allows to reach the museums in 10 minutes on foot and is also 3 minutes from Rome St. Peter's Station. The room, a quadruple, with a castle bed and a double bed was very spacious and well cleaned. New mattresses that offer a great rest. Large bathroom with fridge bar, boiler and television. Autonomous term. Perfect for visiting museums but also to visit the city. Excellent quality price ratio. To return in case of visiting Rome.

My husband and my three-year-old daughter and I were sent to this place, but it was a really bad surprise. First of all, no one had told us it was a basement. Shameful, dark, wet, with wet sheets as a result. I'm sorry, but it's a place where I didn't feel comfortable.

It's convenient, but we'll never go back.

We were a group of 5 staying the last 4 days of April at this 2 bedroom apartment very close to the Vatican. Except for the location, shops & plenty of eateries close by the stay has unfortunate memories. My wife had her purse with a few couple of US $100's & her Indian ID cards stolen from our bedroom during our absence. We were assured by the apartment owner on check-in that only he & us have a key to the apartment & nobody will ever enter the apartment during our occupancy. What a fib! He was also not very receptive when we mentioned the theft to him at check out time. Also, he is not a social type at all! Only business oriented!! 
The apartment was never cleaned or neither was there a change of towels/bed linen all through our stay. Dinky bedrooms, over crammed shower with absolutely no shower gel or soap. Kitchen extra small but manageable. 2 toilets but miserable shower with hot water flowing only for one persons shower & the rest have to make do with cold, cold showers. Will think twice before I can recommend this apartment to my friends circle. 

Lost Purse!

We booked just a week in advance by the 25th of April bridge, cause we're admitting the baby Jesus, we were lucky, we found the room x the time we needed, the staff was available, clean and very nice rooms, well the location is great x visit the city.

Booked well in advance: three days before departure we are moved to the location for over-booking. We were unmovable by accommodating several people in the same room. Even on arrival there was tension and waiting for the distribution of the rooms. The cost included overnight and breakfast that is not served in the structure but in a bar about 400 meters away!! The rooms are sufficiently discreet. The strength point is the location: very close to Piazza S.Pietro The main defect is the organizational management and the lack of hospitality.

It's hard to think of coming back...

As soon as we got back from a beautiful holiday in Rome, we stayed three nights in this hotel and it was very nice. The very generous owner allowed us to move the arrival date and during the holiday season it is not for everyone!!!!

Availability and courtesy

Certainly one of the worst places I've ever seen in my life. Located in the basement, rooms and dumps of dirty beds, no man-like windows, permanent humidity and stench especially in room n○ 8 where I was and asked to be moved. You can also hear EVERYTHING happening in the neighboring rooms. 3 TV channels only available and wifi practically nonexistent. Not to mention the receptionist who 2 hours after my arrival didn't remember me and who spends his time on his computer looking at particular dating sites without even hiding from it. Apart from a privileged location a few minutes from St. Peter's Square, this B&B is not worth a visit.

Mediocre

Hotel St Peters is not a hotel. It is an apartment house and they rent Hostel type rooms in the basement. There is no check in desk, restuarant, amd no public area at all. The room was clean and safe. The man who does check you in is very helpful. I remember that the price was lower than the other places so compare the price and than make your decision.  Nearby was a grocery store, pastry store and a nice restaurant.  Very close to the vatican.  Wifi is available but weak. The A/C worked well.
