The location is wonderful. It is located in a completely noisy area, although it is 10 minutes away from anything you need. They are several single-family apartments surrounded by all kinds of vegetation. The house Mnerva, in which we stayed, was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. The pool is a luxury, it is very well maintained and the temperature of the water is perfect to enjoy it. Josh is a very good host, I offer a list of places to visit along with many restaurants that he considered worth seeing.

Unai & family

Gagnoni is a small and old village cleverly renovated preserving its original features but equipped with all modern comforts. There are apartments of all sizes and each house has the name of an Etruscan deity. In the beautiful house, not far from the village, there are 5 couples apartments, all with bathroom or bathroom. I had the good fortune of a family in the summer room, the upper part of the house where the children slept in the early morning.

A magical place

We stayed the first week in Villa Gagnoni with family friends (4 adults, 5 children in total). When our friends left we stayed the second week in Casa Laran. Cristina, the site manager, very helpfully arranged for our luggage and food to be transferred to our new accommodation at changeover whilst we visited Florence. The whole site has been beautifully restored and is set on a hilltop with glorious views over the Tuscan countryside. The Villa is private and has its own pool whilst the other houses are in another area situated close to a communal pool. Both properties have excellent facilities although Casa Laran did not have air-conditioning. The whole experience from booking to departure was very friendly and professional. If you wanted you could join a very inclusive and social pizza evening. There was wine tasting another evening. We used their mountain bikes to explore the local terrain one day. The location is well positioned to explore both Tuscany and Umbria. We had a wonderful family (children aged 10, 8 & 6) holiday - I cannot recommend it more highly. The only comment I would make is that there are certainly a lot of mosquitoes around in the summer - I recommend you come prepared!

Idyllic Tuscan Retreat

An invaluable place to use as a base to explore Tuscany.Cabanas with everything you need and more, large swimming pool overlooking the Tuscan hills, very good breakfast (paid).In the tranquility of the countryside but a few minutes from the wonderful town of Lucignano, to rest and enjoy.

If you need to contact them for directions or other attention because on various sites you find the Belgian number of the owners and not that of the lady (cell. 333.5298245 or 333.7216644), friendly and cordial, who manages the structure.

A cuddle in the Tuscan hills

Perfect for a romantic weekend or for a stay while touring the Tuscan countryside. Situated in off the beaten track but still close to the motorway it's perfect for a relaxing break. Don't expect many facilities, there's an outdoor pool, wifi and free bikes for trips round the area. Close to the hilltop towns of Lucignano and Asciano. Perfect if going to nearby Rapolano Terme. 

A fantastic out of the way villa

Piccolo Borgo Gagnoni is an excellent location to explore the South of Tuscany. The renovated or restaured houses have all the necessary comfort and are well equiped. Everyhthing is clean and tidy. The village is well integrated into the landscape. You can easily find useful and reliable information about restaurants in the neighbourhood and interesting places to visit in all houses. Christina is an excellent host and solves all problems with a smile. The swimming pool invites you to relax. Here you feel at home.

Excellent location

We spent a week at Piccolo Borgo Gagnoni  which is situated in a quiet and picturesque part of beautiful Tuscany.  The hill top village of Lucignano with restaurants and bars is situated a few minutes' drive away.  The old farm cottages have been sympathetically and tastefully renovated and furnished in the traditional Tuscan style. The house was spotlessly clean with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms. The swimming pool is large with a smaller pool for children and plenty of comfortable sun loungers.  The pizza evening which is held once a week was thoroughly enjoyable.  Pizzas were prepared and cooked in the renovated pizza oven and served to the guests who are seated on a long table along a very attractively planted outside pathway.  The pizzas were delicious (the best we have ever had!) and it was a great way to meet the other guests.  We took breakfast one morning which was served outside in a pretty shaded area.  There was a selection of traditional Tuscan hams and cheeses, locally baked breads and pastries and if you wanted a cooked breakfast, this could be requested.  We thoroughly enjoyed it!

To sum up, we had the most wonderful holiday at Piccolo Borgo Gagnoni and would recommend it wholeheartedly! We will definitely be returning.

Paradise in Tuscany!

We spent a week at the Piccolo Borgo Gagnoni which is located in a quiet and picturesque part of the beautiful Tuscany. The village of Lucignano, which is located on top of the hill, with restaurants and bars is located a few minutes' drive away. The old villas of the farm have been sympathetically and tastefully renovated and furnished according to the traditional Tuscan style. The house was perfectly clean and was equipped with a very well-equipped cube and a living room and dining rooms. The pool is large and there is also a smaller swimming pool and is full of comfortable sun beds. The pizza area that was held once a week was absolutely pleasantly prepared. The pizzas were prepared and baked in a well-restored pizza oven and served in a safe sitting area for a long time.

A beautiful location, modern houses, all comfort you need, a special swimmingpool with letlights, most off the time beautiful weather, nice italian people. From Piccolo Borgo Gagnoni you can go to Firenze, Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, Sienna, Arrezo ..... We spend our holiday, 2weeks, there for 5 years now and every year we make a reservation for the next year, such a wonderfull place in Tuscany! Even Lucignano is a small village next to Piccolo Borgo Gagnoni with much delicious restaurants!
