Our room was on the ground floor, large and recently refurbished with quality furniture, also the large and comfortable bathroom for a family like ours with 4 children (sorry for the lack of bidet, but it's very frequent in the area). The quiet hotel, very well-groomed exterior and large parking lot. The interior is very cozy and well-finished, nice breakfast room, large and spacious. Great hotel, highly recommended.

We stayed one night in this facility with the whole children's hockey team, practically the whole hotel for us, very kind and patient owner despite the chaos of the kids, spacious and clean rooms, breakfast provided with sweet and salty, I confirm as in previous reviews that payment is made only in cash, very nice pool overlooking the hills of Merano but unfortunately we have not enjoyed the still cold season, in 10 minutes' drive you reach the center of Merano.

A pleasant stay

After the lockdown or the end of the travel warning for Italy, we decided to go to South Tyrol spontaneously and we didn't regret for a second our decision to go to the Paler House. Your rooms are beautiful and the whole house, including the host Inge and Otto, exudes an incredible kindness and comfort. The breakfast is great and the location just above the town centre is perfect. In 5 minutes from the town centre and in 2 minutes from the cable car to Highmouth. And at least as important for us in times like these: the hygiene standards were perfectly respected! Many thanks to Inge & Otto for this wonderful holiday. The next one is already booked!

The next vacation's already booked!

I recently stayed at the Hotel Paler, and I didn't feel bad. The thing that bothered me the most was the behavior of the owner, who for three consecutive mornings welcomed us without even the good morning, but asking us to pay, and most importantly, what was more pleasant, to pay only in cash, making excuses like it's the end of the year and devotees are closing the exercise... The most uncomfortable period of the writing in this area is probably three days, so if we're not in the area, we're not going to have a lot of room, and if we're not in the area, we're not going to have a lot of room, and if we're not in the area, we're not going to have a lot of room, and if we're not in the area, we're not going to have a lot of room.

Nice structure, but cash only

In this centrally located and lovingly run by fam. Paler, you must feel at ease. High above Meran, you can enjoy a great view of Meran and its surroundings from the holiday apartments and apartments. The modernly furnished apartment does not leave any wishes open and, nevertheless, if you have a wish, it is sure to be fulfilled. The surroundings offer great hiking destinations, ranging from comfortable walks to challenging mountain walks depending on the individual possibilities.

I've been here for years.

We stayed at the boarding house for two nights in the first days of December (2 adults and 2 young children). Large and clean rooms, staff very available and attentive to our needs.

What a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the Hotel Paler, my wife and I, for 2 nights, 8,9,10 December, to visit the Christmas markets in Merano. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Merano, we have always parked in the parking spaces. The hotel is also very close to the beautiful castle of Tirolo, which can be reached on foot. A 2-minute walk from the hotel is the cabin that leads to the mountain masses. The Hotel Paler has well-furnished, clean and warm rooms, the breakfast is rich, equipped with everything you can want, with various marmalades or chocolate or salt and cheese, yogurt with dried fruit and fresh fruit cereals, etc. There is a car to make coffee, etc. This hotel is a perfectly equipped hotel, and during the summer the hotel has a wonderful swimming pool and a great view of the surrounding area.

Great accommodation and great location.

Nice, very clean, family-run boarding house on the northern outskirts of the village of Tirol. The way to the centre can be a little strenuous for younger children (right steep). The hosts are always friendly, minor problems (TV didn't go) are quickly and competently solved. The pool is usually empty and pleasantly new in the size of the hotel. If you haven't booked breakfast at the hotel, you can book cheap breads at the door. The WiFi (up to 16 MBit, but swinging throughout the day) was fast enough to even load a movie or even stream.

A beautiful holiday in South Tyrol

Very nice and welcoming owners. Covered parking. Spacious, comfortable and new rooms. impeccable cleanliness and soap dispensers in the bathroom. Free WiFi. Balcony with table and drawer with panoramic view. We were great. HOTEL discovered by accident passing by car and we were lucky enough to find a place.

What a discovery!

Excellent and comfortable accommodation. Although at the last moment and for the last of the year they found us a good solution: first a nice and very clean room with balcony and then the penthouse apartment, beautiful. Breakfast well presented and with a lot of choice. If you want different things they are very quick to bring them. Recommended also for the comfortable position compared to the center of Merano.
