The place isn't who knows, but at least the owners are nice. The thing we didn't like was the lack of TV and the fact that we couldn't eat on the spot. We were told that meals should be booked when booking by phone and not when you're on the spot even in the morning for the evening itself.. absurd! We had to go out with our baby under 2 years old looking for a place to eat. The good thing is, there are many nice places to visit nearby so we have to go back to the right farmhouse to sleep because otherwise you can't sleep.

We picked it as a point of support, and we found ourselves fine despite the adventure of a late ferry, and they were available without any problem. It's an agriturismo, with all the beautiful things of the countryside, if you keep this in mind you can't be wrong. I wanted to give it four stars, but the kindness and willingness of the owners deserve the fifth. Except for a good, simple and genuine breakfast, unfortunately we haven't had a chance to try the cuisine.

Kind and available

The Yellow Dog is a family run farm located in a strategic location to visit Tuscia. Our experience was positive. The rooms were warm and very clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable. Good breakfast but a special mention deserves the dinner all based on products they made at home or from local origin. Very nice the idea of a common living room with library and fireplace.

A warm welcome.

We stayed at Canegiallo for a relaxing weekend with a couple of friends and we were really good! A rustic environment that conveys culture and love for nature, excellent food quality with typical dishes cooked wisely. Spacious and comfortable rooms. A garden show that unfolds all around the structure! Gentle, available, present but never invasive, I absolutely recommend!

Like at home.

It's a somewhat hidden farmhouse, so it's not very frequented and it's not worth it anyway. Few guests and when you book you agree on the menu because the dishes are prepared on request. The kitchen is very good and natural with their garden products from the taste of the past. Even the wine and oil are their production but, being a small facility, they don't have to sell them. We managed to have marmalades from their garden but, having bought them five dishes and we finished them all. Try it and you won't regret it.

Familial and welcoming environment.

I stayed at the Cane Giallo for a weekend in October. I found the room to be very clean, simple, and nice. The house itself is very beautiful, especially the outdoor gardens. The living area is filled with books that you can read. One night I opted for the dinner served by the Cane Giallo and it was very worth it: very delicious! All super fresh and local produce. The hosts were very kind and helpful, ready to answer any questions. The position of the agriturismo is also great: very close to a bunch of other cities and sites to see. I'd definitely stay here again.
