We've just returned from our five-day stay in this B&B, and now we're looking forward to it again. Because La Lanterna is truly exceptional: beautifully located, newly renovated rooms and bathrooms (even jet nets were installed on all the windows during our stay), an incredibly nice and attentive hostess Giovanna, who sent us every morning with a wonderful breakfast and lots of great tips to the dream environment.

Rarely so well used.

We highly recommend this address!! Exceptional lunch and kindness from our host Giovanna (always willing to give us good advice on visiting or restaurants!). Magnificent view and perfect location: an address where we will return and advise around us!!!! Bravo And thank you :-)

Lovely guest room, ideally located on the hills of Verbania. Giovanna welcomes you with her liveliness and smile, the room is very well furnished and impeccably clean. Breakfast, which can be taken on the terrace overlooking the lake, is delicious. The place is quiet. We spent three nights and everything was perfect. I highly recommend.

We spent a relaxing weekend at Mrs. Giovanna's delicious B&B. A cozy and furnished room with Provencal taste, a wonderful view of the lake and the Borromee Islands, breakfast with quality local produce and cakes prepared personally by the lady, who also provided us, with exquisite courtesy, with precious tourist information and even personalized!

The weekend on Lake Maggiore

Excellent reception from Mrs. Giovanna: sociable, kind and very available. It provides guidance and advice on what to visit in the surroundings: we had little time, since we had to follow the canoe races, and we used it to visit the gardens of Villa Taranto. Stunning view of Lake Maggiore. Clean and very comfortable room: mattresses and beds give a great respite. The room is furnished in a particular way. Good choice for breakfast both salty and sweet: excellent coffee. Unique new street, in the ground floor and upstairs...

B&B overlooking Lake Major

The La Lanterna is located a little further away and above the highway in Verbania. The view is magnificent and the room is very clean and spacious. There are only two rooms. The hostess Giovanna is very friendly and has the right tip for every occasion. We felt very comfortable and would stay there again. One thing you should know is that it is difficult to move around in this corner of Verbania without a car. We really had a good time there.

Quiet location away from the masses

We stayed 2 nights here and it was wonderful. The interior is modern and clean, the beds were super comfy and the view from our balcony was spectacular. We will definitely come back and can recommend it 100%. 

Wonderful B&B

- A smiling welcome from Giovanna who is always available to give you some valuable advice and some less touristic addresses. - A perfect and clean room with... a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore!!! It's a treat both in the morning and evening in a quiet flowery garden - a plentiful lunch, on the terrace facing the lake in such beautiful weather.

Our stay at LA LANTERNA B&B was really pleasant. Me and my family (me, my wife and my 1-year-old child) were stunned by the reception of Mrs. Giovanna who, already on the phone during the booking phase, conveyed to us the idea that our choice in the search for the structure had been chopped out. The location conveys to the guests all the love that its owner has been able to dedicate to every little detail of the house, in fact nothing is left to chance. The furnishings have been mostly revised by the fancy of the owner: handles, drawers and furniture are all original creations signed by Giovannazioni.. The correct colors, relaxing view, abundant and genuine breakfast, pleasant company, availability and a certainty of stability make this structure a sure to spend another weekend.

A pleasant discovery

I was invited to stay at your b and b. To our great surprise, we found that live is even better than photographed and that getting up in the morning or taking a nap in the evening with a view of the lake is really priceless. The owner is kind and attentive and takes care of everything in detail but with the simplicity of a real housewife.
