My friend and I stayed in Morizou Guesthouse for 6 nights and it was the best decision that we made for this trip. The rooms are in traditional Japanese style, also clean and cozy. The guesthouse is convenient as restaurants and supermarket/convenience store are around. It is also close to the Osaka Castle. Most importantly, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. It made us feel like home. I definitely come back again if I visit Osaka!

Lovely Guesthouse

Stayed a couple of nights at Morizou, wife and I found the place excellent, most comfortable, and welcoming. Quite close to restaurants for convenience, and easy walking distance to Osaka Castle. .this in its self was a bonus, due short time in Osaka, proximity to Osaka Castle gave us the opportunity to jump on Osaka Hop on Hop off bus. More of that later. .. Would recommend Morizou.

MORIZOU

I have stayed at Morizou twice and both time were Superb! The Guesthouse is clean, cozy and well decorated with personal touch. There are lots of plants and books in the communal space, I particularly love the wooden shelves that are made by the owner :) The owner was very welcoming and friendly, offering good tips and recommendations of Osaka. The guesthouse is located in a lovely neighbourhood, close to subway and JR station. It's convenient to travel around Osaka as well as Kyoto. I would recommend to stay for a few nights and get settle in with the Tatami bed which is one you shouldn't miss.

Feel Like Home

The Guesthouse Morizou is an old traditional building. 
Tatami floor for every room, it smells really good!
The decorations are all handmade by the host, Ayumi.
She is kind and hospitable, we are overwhelmed by her smile.
She treat every guest as her friend.
If you really want to experience a characteristic Japanese style stay,
YOU must spend some of your days here!
