The guest house is very well located near momodani train station. It's full of shops and restaurants nearby. Although the building is a little old, it's clean. Thanks to the owner for his kindness and advice.

Well located

救いの無いほど酷い場所です。どうしてこんな場所を選んじゃったのか後悔しています。スタッフがとても無礼な人で、ファミリールームは最悪でした。駅前じゃなかったらこんな場所100円の価値もありません。

The only good point is that this guest house is located near JR station which also makes  noise. All other points are terrible. The room is small and very dirty. Bed sheets caused skin problem. Staff only required  many things which we should not do. He was very rude from start to the end. 2 days family stay no towel was served, also shower room  was dirty and had problems with hot water.
Never stay here.
I cannot believe some people reccomended this horrible place. 


Worst place to stay

Our room was small, and it was impossible to open our suitcases except on the alternate bed (3 in the room). Clean common bathroom, as well as the bedding, which is very comfortable. No bath towels provided, unless one is rented, for 100 yen. Near JR station.

Good value for money

Located half a block from a JR train station, and one block from a shopping mall, until a Japanese-style casino is nearby, the people who attend it are very busy, and the area is very quiet, so to spend a couple of nights here rather than well.

Very sweet of you.

The staff was pretty friendly. Located near a JR train station. The private room I stayed in was spacious, it was almost like an apartment. It had a refrigerator, a stove, television, washing machine, etc.

"Great value"

Ideally located right near Modomani Station in Osaka, a quick whip around on the Osaka Loop Line lands you at this hostel. Staff are incredibly friendly, there are cooking facilities so you can do your own cooking or there is plenty of shops nearby. Plenty of sights in walking distance, nice clean hostel with comfy beds and very clean!

Ideally located, perfect for a few days' stay

I put the fourth star on it for the graffiti and the artist's choice. Very kind staff is available. Fantastic position, I chose it because it's right next to your house but actually very close to the subway. Clean places. One negative note, the absence of keys to our room.

Hostel with good price

Hostel have a perfect location, near the subway and there are supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. 
The staff speak good English and they are very friendly too.
For those who travel with big luggage, pls inform the staff in advance so they will try to arrange your room at ground floor.
Very clean hostel and they do provide laundry service with min fees, will definitely stay in this Hostel again on my next trip to Osaka!

Only 100 steps away from the subway

As most travellers has indicated, the room is rather cramp but what do you expect in a busy city like Osaka. The staff are ever so helpful and friendly. Location is superb and neighbourhood is friendly and interesting. On our first evening here, a guy from Michigan approached us and he was most helpful. We were introduced to a Bob Marley bar serving best fried chicken we tasted.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay in the Bonsai guesthouse and has rebooked for our last evening in Japan.

Enjoyable stay

The hotel is very well located, the reception is very functional and clean looking. The staff were very friendly and spoke very well English. La Bonsai Guesthouse is right next to Momodani Station, which is very convenient for moving within Osaka, although there is not much to do in the area.
