This hostel should be sued for sure.
Sue them for money! 
Lawyer will take this case. 
Maybe talk to an international community run by local government support for help.

Not doing anything and refuse to protect the guest's safety has to be reported. 
This place should be banned or penalized and punished by law. 

Do not stay in this hotel!

A female traveler staying at the hostel was victim to a male traveler watching her in the shower and the staff did NOTHING to help her report him or to help the victim. The safety of your guests should come first!

Not Safe for Women

A female traveler stayed here and another male guest spied on her while she was showering. She caught him in the act.  This is sexual harassment to a very serious degree. Furthermore, the hostel staff did absolutely nothing to hold the male guest accountable--Reina at the front desk refused to provide the perpetrator's name or even contact information of the hostel's manager so the female traveler could file some type of police report herself. So be very wary of this hostel (especially if you are a woman), as they condone sexual harassment against women.  Creating a safe and comfortable environment for ALL guests should always be a top priority, and it is not at this hostel.

Not safe for female travelers

Just stayed at this hostel, where this ass decided to push his head through the side of the shower curtain and watch me dry off naked. The girl at the front Reina Murasawa refused to give me his name, so I couldn't make a formal report, she also refused to give me the hostel managers information only this generic card. I feel violated,dirty, gross and nasty. 
I would have preferred to make a police report even though I know the police would do nothing, but still some accountability would be great. 
Please help me by sharing this post to not only make this pervert accountable, but to also warn other women who may encounter him in a similar situation.

Additionally: The place is dark and dingy, the beds are uncomfortable and you have to make up your own bed,  they aren't as guest friendly as other hostels in Tokyo, do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

Horrible place to stay ...

I overheard another guest mention to the front desk that some creep peeped in on her in the shower. Reina at the front desk refused to provide his information so she could make a formal complaint and also refused to give the managers email.

Safety Issues

I didn't like it at all. You have to make your own bed. The beds are uncomfortable and dancing. The separate curtains are of little use because they don't give privacy.

Horrible iron beds dancing

Very small spaces (as Japanese standard). Clean structure, note stunted: towels are not included (they are paid for). Washers / dryers not up to height (there are three washers and three dryers in a tiny room on the top floor, for a six-story hostel are decidedly few). Bathrooms sometimes cold and not heated as needed.

Good hostel in Tokyo

Good location close to the city centre, really close to JR Ryogoku station. In the end we stayed for 7 nights.  Bathrooms were clean, body soap and shampoo is provided in showers, hairdryer is in the bathroom. AC was working properly everywhere. Two common areas can help you socialise, the kitchen can get a little crowded at meal times. Reception is not open 24/7, staff was very helpful and they have a lot of information/tips for travelers in the lounge/reception area. They can rent you a padlock for the locker in the room and adapter for electric plugs (both for returnable deposit) However, when we visited they did not have enough adapters for EU/JP combination. Beds are pretty big, the mattress might be a bit too thin for someone. You can wash & dry your laundry on the top floor for approx 300 yen. We sometimes had issued with the connection to Wi-Fi. Of course it's a hostel, so you might get lound/snoring roommates and it might greatly impact your experience...

Good affordable hostel close to JR station

I stayed a couple of nights in this hostel. The location is excellent, a few minutes' walk from the station (in two stops you can reach Akihabara), with several accommodations and places to eat nearby. The environment is pleasant, rooms, bathrooms and common areas very clean. Comfortable beds, a decent luggage space and, always in the room, a rather large personal closet (you have a lock if you want to use it). Wi-Fi is excellent, but there are also some PCs made available for free to customers.

Good experience

Anne Hostel Yokozuna is a pretty cool hostel, with a nice atmosphere. Everything is clean (if not brand new), the staff is nice and helpful and the immediate area is good for izakayas. The best thing about Yokozuna is really the location though. Ryogoku and Sumida is not central Tokyo, but it's only a 30 min walk to Akihabara, which very much is. Walking along the river is surprisingly peaceful, and Sumida is also really good for just wandering around Where Japanese People Live. I liked it a lot!
