Stayed only one night here due to miscalculations of length of stay with other accoms. 
To start with, the area is slightly misleading. We thought it’s only someone’s house! The front garden was lovely and well looked after. The receptionist was very helpful and most importantly speaks English.
The reception area has enough space. Have to remove your shoes prior to coming in to the wooden floors. Very Japanese cultures that we also love.
The room provided was spacious and so incredibly Japanese in style and feel. The tatami covered floors, the beds, lamps and tea table. The room’s toilet and bathroom was very clean and with basic amenities provided.
We highly recommend this one!

Lovely surprise

first time in Japan and we wanted to experience traditionally accommodation away from the noise of the Centre of Tokyo.
The accommodation is immaculately clean and beautifully presented. 
We stayed for two weeks without any issues
the nearest station is Koiwa which is convenient for central Tokyo ( 30-40 mins approx. ) but it made it part of our adventure, buy a Suica card and a JR pass and explore.
plenty of local shops and restaurants to explore and a 7 eleven across from the guest house that is 24/7 and has an ATM. 
The owner is a very kind and devoted to the premised and was extremely helpful during our trip.
this property is a hidden gem and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves, thank you for making our first time in japan special 



wonderful traditional guest house 

We started our trip to Japan by Ryokan Fuji from March 29 to 31! We were waiting and Mr. Masayasu Hori was able to answer all our questions quickly! A few minutes from Koiwa Station, we were able to reach Tokyo's various tourist attractions within 20 minutes by train. The neighborhood is safe, you can find traditional suits and small restaurants! The triple room is spacious, with separate private bathroom and toilet. The cleanliness is impeccable, the comfort of the Japanese beds is very good, there is a small tea room in the room. The breakfast is worth the trip, the house in the pure Japanese tradition, it was delicious and delicious! We always enjoyed the tackiness of our host, and we have always helped to help, and we have offered a great service and advice through the supermarket! Thank you!

Ryokan Fuji: an excellent Japanese experience

This was an exquisite ryokan, very clean and new, toilet and bath en suite and modern, a small garden out front, a baggage elevator, a laundry, very quiet, close to the train lines, close to the airport bus.  The owners were wonderful, eager to help.

Impeccable ryokan nestled in Tokyo

The hotel is very cozy, you can sleep on the floor with a traditional Japanese futon, the pieces are comfortable, of good size, with a TV, mini refrigerator, closet, air conditioning working excellent. The bathroom is modern and traditional Japanese. The owners speak basic English but make themselves understood, have an excellent disposition, were really very kind to us, giving us information, greeting us each time we entered the hotel, we carried them traditional Chilean sweets, as it is a nice Japanese custom to carry gifts. Totally recommended for quiet people, family trips, not for people who go to a party in Tokyo.

Excellent small hotel!

In the middle of the tourist season, it was the cheapest barbecue I could find. The choice was successful. The friendly hosts - grandfather and grandmother - kept the whole hotel, or I just didn't see anyone but them. When the grandfather came back, he would take your bags and run to open the room and turn on the light. The hall has instructions on how to get to the airport, the electricity checklist (yes, they walk every 2-5 minutes according to the schedule), instructions on how to use the computer, the TV, what channel the broadcast is on, etc.

A good low-cost restaurant in Japanese style.

Firstly, we were welcomed by the lovely owners and shown all the features of the room. Spacious and relaxing. Everything was spotless from the bedroom to the bathroom. Not a sight of dust or dirt to be seen anywhere at all (the floors are sparkling clean). Facilities are new
And modern. Spacious bathroom and bathtub. In a quiet little street 2 minutes walk from a supermarket and convenience store and about 10 minutes walk from Koiwa train station. Would recommend this as it was a pleasant and relaxing stay. 

Lovely and clean. A true Japanese experience. 

I wanted to spend some time after my business trip to get a feel of a traditional japanese accomodation (with paper screens, futons, et al). It is difficult to get an accomodation like that in Omotesando or Shibuya so I travelled all the way to Koiwa. This accomodation is located around 10 mins from Koiwa station (you'll see a sign board on the road). The first thing you notice is the Japanese garden with the traditional waterfall and bamboo shoots. You enter and you are immediately greeted by the owners (an elderly couple). Don't forget to ask for the breakfast!

You are led to your room and you are immediately blown away by how well-maintained the rooms are. I had an extra bedding available as well. And not to forget, a male kimono (?) if I felt like taking the traditional experience a notch ahead! You have all the facilities you need. No complaints.

The Japanese breakfast the next day was oje of the best traditional meals I have ever had. The presentation was par excellence. And the couple get up really early to make sure you have the best experience. 

If you want peace and quiet and an experience of a traditional japanese accomodation don't think twice, just book this place!

We had a very pleasant stay at the ryokan Fuji. 
The rooms were Clean and very comfortable . 

We were given a breakfast call in the morning and 
The breakfast  ( Japanese style) , was lovingly prepared and delicious. 

Would recommend this ryokan to friends.

Clean comfortable & welcoming

It's not the most convenient location, and it's not too expensive to feel the color of a real Japanese hotel - a barbecue!) Beds, a low table, a stool in the bathroom, a luggage elevator, a yard with a Japanese mini-saddle! But at the same time, the barbecue is not without modern convenience - the Internet and TV are present) By the way, you will be provided not only with bedding and bathroom accessories, but with a skirt!)
