Very close to Ikebukuro subway station 5 mins walk.  Convenient, lots of eat and shopping.
The main entrance is kinda obscure and hard to find though.  Should have more lighting and signs to direct.
Staff don't speak much English.

Very small room but clean and efficent.

Very strict on check in times even if there are vacant rooms available. The lobby is more like a waiting room but dark and old. The hotel is very old and could do with a facelift but it is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the communal bath with the hot and cold tubs, the outdoor pool was not in operation when I went and it looked like it had been out of service for a long while. It was convenient having this in the hotel even though it was not luxurious but very basic.

As travelers, we accept compromises and are willing to be less comfortable for closer proximity to attractions. However, we refuse such a deadlock to minimum hygiene standards. Actually, our room was packed with cold tobacco, the sheets were stained, the shower curtain was wet, the electrical installations were held by scotch and the tapestry was torn.

Old, dirty hotel with a room smell of mustard or clove smell I even had cockroaches in my bathroom wet shower curtain the cold and bad Lunch unwelcome staff don't set foot there

Hotel situated in business district, check in fast,room very compact ,just allows two people only, bathroom small but clean,hot water available.

Very good location, 5mins walk to Ikebukuro station, famous shops and restaurants are around. It is not surprise we can spend two days to explore this area without travelling. Although it is a bit old, you will be happy for price is low in that area. 

Between, there is a open bathroom for hotel visitor only, but have no chance to take a look.

Honestly, it's not a room I'm interested in taking a photo. 
Personally not happy with smoking smelling in non-smoking room

Good location but very old, small and dirty hotel. Staff at the lobby is not helpful and has poor english skill! Only say “hi hi” he couldn’t understand what I ask in english

Smelling bad since I enter to the 1st floor. That moment I want to cancel all the booking 

Worst hotel I ever stayed 

Small but clean room (you'll tell me it's Japan). Lovely staff (you'll tell me it's Japan...). Very lively neighborhood is perfectly served. The hotel is not necessarily easy to find but like a lot of things in Tokyo. Really a very good experience and a good price ratio.

Good situation

Good price-performance for an establishment in central Tokyo, located in a busy area 2 steps from the train station (North Exit). You don't have to be too much on your horse about the size of the room, or especially about the view (building in front of 1m50 away). But just to sleep it does. No Wifi, but on request you will be given a Wlan cable at the reception (contains 500Y).

Simple and well-placed

Hello people, I was staying at that hotel and it's not bad, but the problem is the service they offer, as they've repeated several times and I've made my own complaints, while I was using the room, the maintenance without even calling the door x if there's anyone, opening with their key and entering, that's what bothers me most about that hotel, but for the rest, it was fine.
